I have very delicate skin that is prone to acne and eczema. I also have a lot of allergies that prevent me from using most skin products so I was pretty nervous about trying a new one, but I gave it a chance. The first couple of days I noticed some itchiness in my skin, but it was effectively clearing dead skin and reducing whiteheads so I kept using it and the itching went away. My skin does feel a bit dry after using it, and it probably would be better alongside the vanicream moisturizer; however, I try to only start new products one at a time so that I can easily pin point things that may be bothering me. As far as pricing, I think it's pretty affordable considering it comes in a fairly large bottle and you only have to use a pea-sized amount each wash. It also doesn't leave any weird films or grease, and doesn't seem to have any weird smells. Altogether, really like the product over the week or two that I have been using it, and my skin looks a lot cleaner and more evenly textured.

I’m in my 70’s and for the first time ever, I developed eczema. This led to a visit with my dermatologist to get advice on treating this condition. She immediately recommended the Vanicream products the facial cleanser and their moisturizer which I ordered the same day from Amazon. While I also needed an Rx for the eczema, I have used the facial cleanser and moisturizer to support the prescription. As a result, I have only had a couple of flare-ups in the last four months. These products are now a part of my daily routine, not just during flare-ups. The cleanser “melts away” any make-up leaving my skin feeling refreshed, but not greasy. The moisturizer quickly absorbs into my skin, leaving my skin smooth and soft. These products have been effective in protecting my skin barrier. I’m sold on their effectiveness!

So far so good. My dermatologist recommended this brand as a daily skincare routine, and I think I’ll be using it from now on. I had been using CeraVe for quite some time, and it seemed to work okay, but I like the lather VANICREAM provides. It results in a cleaner feel even if it is a placebo effect. I also prefer the irritant-free formula just because it puts my mind at ease using something without unnecessary ingredients, not because I absolutely need it. Side note: My doc recommended this during a perioral dermatitis flare-up caused by medication. The CeraVe was potentially irritating my skin even more at the time. Otherwise, I would’ve just continued using the CeraVe. This appears to be good for extremely sensitive skin, including dermatitis and acne flares.

This cleanser is great for my acne prone skin. Its great for sensitive skin since its so gentle and fragrance free. I've gone through 3 bottles and keep coming back to it. My skin tends to feel very dry after washing my face with certain cleansers but not with this one! This stuff works great!

I purchased this to put in my office. I used it when my face feels oily. So far so good. Feels clean after wash.

I’ve been trying to deal with seb derm on my forehead and this cleanser isn’t aggravating it or drying out my skin. It lathers up into a really nice foam, no scent, and feels great on my face! I feel like it’s doing a great job keeping my skin clean and clear! Will buy again!
