I do like this book
I do like this book, however I hoped that it would give a wider overview of women's history. This book primarily focuses on women's history before the birth of Christ, and I had hoped that it would range from cavewomen times to Victorian women's history.

Essential book
Essential book for all women. If you don't buy this for your wife, daughter or mother you are doing them a disservice. Maybe not all the truth but it tells you how men have distorted the past. Read it and then share. Men will also benefit

Should be on the national curriculum
Very well-researched and well-written book. Should be on the national curriculum. One of many titles by the author. Can't wait to read more of her work.

Expands your idea of the world
Opens up the worldview beyond what the current mainstream versions of history and stories about humanity insist. Widens the perspective. Highly recommended read for anyone curious about humans and the world.
