TUF GAMING B850M-PLUS WIFI

I am extremely satisfied with this motherboard. The 14+2+1 power stages handle my Ryzen processor with ease, providing incredibly stable performance even under heavy gaming loads. The connectivity is top-notch—having PCIe 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6E ensures this build is ready for next-gen hardware. I also love the inclusion of the USB Type-C 20Gbps port for fast data transfers. Installation was a breeze, and the Aura Sync lighting adds a perfect touch of customization. If you're looking for a reliable, high-performance mATX board for the AM5 platform, this is it!

Had this motherboard for 6 months now, I must say I am very impressed with how fast it is. The ease and straight forwardness of the manual is extremely easy. The new Bios feature and also the flash port is a def game changer. The over all stability is excellent thus far no problems at all no errors and no crashes. The Asus hub driver is strongly reccomened to keep everything updated also it is a straight forward software it connects and downloads updates quickly. Overall a 10/10 for this mother board

Excellent mainboard so far, I am using it with an AMD Ryzen 9600X with no issues. The RAM runs at 7000 megatransfers and is very, very stable. No problems at all. I love the variety of ports (USB etc) and install was easy. Wifi works great. No issues at all. I use it for a light gaming and general use machine and it works very well. The audio output is fine with some decent speakers and headphones. No cooling issues with the power conversion, or anything.

Cons: only one 9-pin usb connector; ARGB has been finicky with my chassis (Montech Air100); and manual pdf doesn’t download / open on my iOS devices. Meh: the bios interface is fine. Pros: everything else; especially the manual (seriously) This is my third MoBo for a recent build (Gigabyte Gaming b650m quit after a month, ASRock pro B850m was DOA) so I feel like I’ve been through my paces. This board was a joy to build. It feels thick and heavy to hold—it barely gives when you press the DIMMs in, e.g. The plugs are located around the edges of the board in good, common locations. As noted in cons, there’s only one USB 9-pin plug—my cooler was already daisy-chained on it, so I had to plug my chassis into the 4-pin UBB_16. The bios interface is fine—doesn’t stand out, but they at least have a good manual for it and it’s highly customizable. The pcie5 is noticeable on the ssd (I upgraded from a WD Black sn850x to the sn8100 2Tb). And I found the board’s instruction manual both helpful and well written. I had an ASUS TUF laptop for several years that barely showed any wear when I finally sold it to upgrade it on this rig. This board feels like the same quality. Ease of use

Motherboard is great. My 9800X3D works on it right out of the box, no BIOS upgrade needed. I wish they included more M.2 rubber pads for single sided SSD’s. They include 2 but there’s three slots, so you’ll need 3 if you plan on filling all 3 slots with single-sided NVMe’s. The PCIe slot leaves a lot of be desired. The releasing mechanism is so flimsy that it’s never once worked well. You push down the latch and it doesn’t help to eject the graphics card. It flips up but slides past the graphics card, pinning it in the open position. Cheap design. Other than that, I have no complaints. Plenty of USB ports and support for lots of RGB and fans. One last thing I want to mention is the board came with two slightly bent pins for something on the bottom left of the board. I don’t have the manual in front of me nor did I use it, but it arrived bent, like it was manufactured like that, but not supposed to be that way. Doesn’t really affect my use case but I wanted to mention everything.

The product is great. It was stable with no issues. Coming from a competitor's board that was having tons of DRAM issues. This board was great. My only issue is that the first expansion slot is taken up with an m.2 drive, which forces you to use the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th slot of the case to house my graphics card. I'm using a compact case and this prevents me from adding fans to the bottom of the case to add extra cooling for the GPU. But, that isn't really a flaw on the board, it's just a design choice so that they could add all the m.2 slots to the front of the board. The board is also priced well. This is the TUF line and not the Strix line, so the price is expected to be a little lower, but it was still better than the competitor's offerings price wise.

This motherboard is a great pick if you don't care about RGB and just want something that does the job well, it has PCIe 5.0 x16 needed for new cards and three m.2 drives. the audio chip is great and pair weill with nice open-back headphones and analog microphones. Additionally, the BIOS is very user friendly while also offering advanced features if you are into overclocking and tuning like many of us are.

One of the best Mini motherboards I've bought. I changed the b650m-plus Wi-Fi with this one. I love it.

Great value matx am5 motherboard. I wanted the case you can see on the picture for ages but my components wouldn't fit being a regular am4 atx board. So I took the plunge and went matx and am5, luckily about a week before the RAM price skyrocketed. Very pleased it looks amazing.
