Such a good vitamin! Recommended by my PCP for postpartum hair loss. Not meant to create growth so much as prevent further loss. However, a friend I recommended this to noticed new baby hairs a few weeks after starting this and overall better hair condition. Personally, I notice that this has a huge impact on my energy. If I don’t take it, I am exhausted. This isn’t a miracle but it helps and I make sure I don’t run out. I also had less illnesses this year while taking it. Not sure if related or not. I take this at night. Make sure not to take it with any dairy products or it won’t absorb as well.

I get full blood panels every year just to stay ahead of any issues that could arise before they cause issues. My last panel my ferritin was low but my iron was ok, so I started taking these every other day. I take 4 pills (60mg) at a time and I feel the results right away. It lowers my anxiety which is my only symptom of the low ferritin. I take zinc by the same brand on the off days. I’ve had zero side effects, no nausea, no constipation. I’m really happy about this because I am trying to avoid iron infusions.

It doesn’t smell or taste like anything, which is great for those with iron deficiency anemia. I was skeptical on taking iron pills because most people say it smells and tastes bad, but that’s iron sulfate. Iron glycinate/aspartate is better on the stomach AND absorbs better. The only trade off is it’s a little more expensive.
