Love this canning set. Tools are useful, easy to handle and clean up nice too!

This set is just about everything you might need for canning but the jars and pot. The jar lifter works great for taking the hot jars out of the hot water. The magnet stick is perfect for getting the metal lids and rings out of the hot water too. The funnel works great for loading the jars. The only item I didn't use was the stick with the zigzag edge. I'm not sure what it was for but I lost it the first time I washed the items so it was just as well. The jar holder was great for holding the hot jars while putting the rings on. Everything fit back in the box for storage too. Very nice set of canning tools.

Everything is great except the jar tongs, they don’t grip as securely as I would like. But they work for a hobby canner!

Great price on a very functional set of tools, compared to similar kits from other sellers. It has just about everything you need for canning except a little rack for your jars to rest on in the canning pot! The jar lifter, jam funnel, tongs, and opener all seem sturdy enough for me. The magnetic lid lifter is such a great idea, too. All of these store neatly in the box it was shipped in on my pantry shelf.

I have a set for myself and bought another set for my aunt when she was using a fork to get can lids out of boiling water. The magnet in this set is so much safe than any other utensil! The jar lifter and wide funnel make canning much easier.
