One of the Best Co-op Games Ever – A Worthy Successor to It Takes Two!
If you loved It Takes Two, you need to play Split Fiction. This game takes everything that made its predecessor amazing—tight co-op gameplay, heartfelt storytelling, and creative level design—and dials it up with stunning graphics, immersive sound, and incredibly polished mechanics. From the first level, Split Fiction pulls you into its world with vibrant visuals and beautifully orchestrated music. The story is emotionally engaging with just the right blend of humor, drama, and action, keeping both players hooked from beginning to end. What really stands out is how well the gameplay is tuned—never too easy to be dull, and never so hard it becomes frustrating. It hits that perfect balance that keeps the experience fun and rewarding.Co-op is where this game truly shines. The puzzles and challenges are brilliantly designed to require real teamwork, and the variety in gameplay keeps things fresh throughout. Whether you're solving clever platforming sections or tackling unique boss fights, every moment feels meaningful and well-crafted.Despite being a recent release, the game is impressively stable. There are a few occasional glitches, but nothing game-breaking or immersion-ruining. Honestly, it’s one of the smoothest launches I’ve seen in recent years. If you're looking for a game to play with a partner, friend, or family member, Split Fiction is a must-buy. It's a memorable experience from start to finish—and in my opinion, it's one of the best co-op games available on PS5 right now.

Another GOTY contender from Hazelight!
After less than a month after its release, Split Fiction is already an odds-on favorite for game of the year...and I can see why. I've always enjoyed Hazelight's games, so buying this one was a no-brainer. It's incredibly creative, and blast to play, and hits on so many emotional levels. Just an absolute gem of a game that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a new co-op challenge.

Worth It
Fun and funny, with quality gameplay at times makes the price small on comparison to the value received. Although, the experience was great and the wife enjoyed it to a point of bothering me to play it whenever I had other responsibilities, I felt some of the level design was bland or just basic platforming with no real challenge, just filler to show off the high-tier eye candy. I wasn't crazy about the actual story, BUT, some of the side stories' gameplay along with the wonder of what's coming next are VERY worth it. And at the end game, the content becomes SIGNIFICANTLY IMPRESSIVE visually in an experience you don't want to miss. I highly recommend this game if you like co-op!

One of the best couch coop experiences around
I cannot give this game enough praise. If you liked “It Takes Two”, you’re gonna like this game. It is enjoyable from start to finish. I’ve played through a lot of games in my life, and I think this game probably has the best final boss sequence of any of them! Great story, great co-op puzzles and Challenges, a true gem.
