Brooks Men’s Glycerin Max Neutral Running & Walking Shoe

I want to emphasize this: if I could give these more stars, I would. I am a loyal Brooks customer. Over the years I have had GTS, Ghosts, Glycerin and now I am OBSESSED with this model. Every year I make a new Brooks investment, because the improvements are noticeable each year. I want you to know that I am NOT a marathon runner. I am a 50+ year old woman who runs 25-ish miles a week, spends a lot of time on my feet at work, have a knee that will need replacing in the next few years, and bunions from my younger days spent in heels. I understand why these are deemed “illegal” in marathons. They have enough rocker to them to propel me to finish miles quicker and with less exhaustion. At roughly $200 a pair, these are literally the only shoes I can justify buying multiple pairs of. I have lots of shoes that are far more attractive, but they don’t stand a chance against these. If they had more colors I would have to have them. They do run a little more narrow than the others I’ve had, but they feel more secure than the Ghost Max. This is important to me to feel safe with the larger heel drop. I would rate these higher than the Ghost Max as well as the On Cloud Max . Bite the bullet an pop for the extra $50 over the aforementioned. You will forget about the extra money on your first run. I promise.

Best shoes I've ever purchased. Years and years of having tremendous foot pain and almost limping around after working all day on my feet are magically resolved. I can't suggest these enough to people looking for something to help w their foot pain. They take a day to get used to with the amount of lift they provide, but the comfort is 👌 My feet no longer hurt after standing on concrete floors for 10 hours a day. I can work a 12hr shift and feel completely fine. Its life changing. I wish I had gotten these sooner and will be a life long customer of brooks. I had so many people suggest hooka's w so many others talking about how they fall apart in less than a year. I've heard nothing but life long customers of brooks because of their quality, comfort and durability. I absolutely agree and am super happy w my purchase. They're showing no signs of wear and I've had them for over three months, i wear them every single day for most of the day. If you're on the fence.... get them. I absolutely guarantee you'll never look back

This shoe is a fun shoe. The stack height it crazy but yet you still have control. While walking over rocks and pits in the road the shoe absorbs it and you barely feel anything! It also has a steep rocker in the front that pushes you forward keeping the walk fun! I would not wear this driving or out with friends but for personal use walking around the block or errands where no one will recognize you I would cop a pair. The design just needs some work but it is a fun shoe.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I'm barely run, maybe like half a mile a week. These are amazing for walking or anything.

Have tried several shoes looking for the right support for HIIT workouts, mainly running. This is by far the best I’ve experienced. Outstanding support, very cushy run to the point where it’s fun, and looks great too. Glad I found them and will be a Brooks fan for running. Highly recco!

Took a couple of days to get used to the seemingly extra cushy feel, but once you get used to it you never go back to other shoes! I even tried Hoka but this is superior than over rated hoka. I spent couple weeks walking around a lot in South Korea; never felt tired. Paid a lot yes, but totally worth it.
