Works really well with the Steam Deck. Had issues at first trying to wire it up right. Needed a better USB-C cable but now is working fine.

This combined with a fairly cheap M2 SSD and I finally had windows working for my steamdeck. The power pass through is exactly what you need for this, the power hits the SSD first then the device. I had used a UGREEN hub and although it promised all of the same, the pass through was not true pass through. This is. If anyone is looking to have windows on the deck, this hub is ideal! Compatibility and Quality!

Exactly what i needed, i use this with my steam deck to load windows from, for the odd time i do boot to windows this is a great solution, I did have a Genki product for the drive, however the genki got so hot it seemed dangerous, this one gets warm but is much much better, defintely a much better quality replacement. I also love the design that is visable.

Does not work with iphone 17 pro/max. Do not buy it for that use case!

Xcellent Item n Fast Service Just what i needed for my IP15proMax

Was very convenient using the included cable on my iPhone 16 with magsafe, HOWEVER the included cable does not work with iPhone 17 or iPad M4 for some bizarre reason , some alternative cables do work fine with them. Worked great with earlier models using the included cable. It gets fairly hot with large amounts of data transfer, so is worth getting a heat sink option.

You need external power supply to use this. It gets hot especially when recording 4k video My advise is to get all its accessories including external fan

1万円以下で買ったLexarの「NVMe SSD M.2 2230 1TB」を入れて、MagSafe対応(内蔵)の手帳型カバーをつけたiPhone16proで使っていますが、BlackmagicCamでの4K120fpsProRes動画撮影でもコマ落ちすることなく使えています。長短2本同梱されているうちの短い方のケーブルで接続していますが、長さも問題ないです。(ケーブルは見た目よりも柔らかく、フレキシブルでした。) SSDからアルミ天板へ熱伝導シート貼付で放熱する設計なので、長時間酷使するとかなり熱くなるため、冷却用ファンは別途用意した方がいいかもしれませんが、数分の撮影なら気にしなくて良さそうです。 バッファローのアプリ「写真バックアップ」での本体に保存した写真/動画のバックアップも高速に出来るため、つけっぱなしで使う以外にも使いどころがありますし、旅行に向けていい買い物が出来ました。

Alla fine soluzione migliore e più economica rispetto alle alternative. Comodo ed estremamente pratico l’attacco magnetico, lo uso con un Crucial 1Tb. Cosa che immagino accada con altri SSD delle stesse dimensioni a parità di utilizzo, tende a riscaldarsi, ma al momento non ho ancora acquistato la ventola di raffreddamento abbinata, valuterò più avanti. All’atto pratico consente un buon uso al mio iPhone 16 Pro, con la Blackmagic Camera App, registrano in ProRes LT, leggermente meno con il ProRes alla massima risoluzione, ma mi sembra di capire che il limita sia dell’iPhone più che del disco esterno.

Awesome enclosure. Great build quality! I also got the Hagibis finned heat dissipation cover and it’s a perfectly machined fit. Installed a 2TB Crucial P310 SSD (formatted as exFAT) to use with my Steam Deck and my iPhone 16 Pro Max and it works great (and was very easy to install). No complaints at all. That Crucial SSD does draw too much power to be used with the iPhone without also having power plugged into the enclosure, but I knew that going in. Hagibis has videos on YouTube showing what SSDs work without needing external power if you need to be able to use it that way. All the ports work well and being able to still have an available USB-C port while the enclosure is plugged into your device (and external power) is a big plus. The enclosure comes with two thermal pads and one seems to be a little thicker. For the Crucual P310 SSD, the thicker one will work best as the controller chip is a bit thinner than the NAND chip and the thinner pad atop the controller chip won’t make full contact with the cover plate (or finned cover). You could probably also cut a section from the thicker pad to go over the controller chip and then cut a section from the thinner pad to go over the NAND chip and it would likely work perfectly. I also wanted to use the enclosure/SSD with my work phone (iPhone 17 Pro Max) but the provided USB-C cables are, unfortunately, incompatible. However, I emailed Hagibis and Jimmy was quick to send me the cables that will work. They arrived within days, despite shipping from China and they’re physically identical to the ones that come with the enclosure. For this price, I wasn’t expecting a product or customer service comparable with Apple, but that’s what I feel like I got. Very happy with this purchase. Great value for the price!
