GOMEXUS Power Knob Compatible for Shimano Saltwater Spinning Reel Handle Knob 45mm

This is my second gomexus power knob purchase after purchasing the 35mm size (check out of stradic ci4+ 2500 review in black/red). - I've been searching for a replacement knob for my Shimano Big Baitrunner XTBC LC 14000 for a while now. Due to the reel being EURO Spec, there was minimal, if any, reviews or recommendations for an aftermarket knob. - The original knob is tiny, suitable for perhaps a 5000k size reel but definitely NOT for 14000 size reel, especially with a reel that has a tall/ wide spool. -I don't have the biggest hands but the original knob was very uncomfortable to use and I wasn't excited to use this beast of a reel as often as I would have liked. I decided to give this knob a try and if it didn't fit, I would just return it back to amazon. Pros: - EASY install and nice quality - Bearings are smooth - The best combination to allow the knob to spin freely without play is: using 1 washer --> 1 bearing --> 1 washer --> knob base --> 1 bearing (slightly smaller internal diameter) --> screw --> handle cover. I did use some reel oil on the bearings and contact surfaces. Cons: - The metal knob is heavier than the stock plastic/rubber knob. - Had to fiddle a bit with the correct combination between washers and bearings- (there was 3 of each). Overall Impressions: - This knob is very well built as expected. The knob feels FANTASTIC in hand compared to the flat, T style knob that was undersized for this reel. -I would assume this knob could be used on other 14000 size reels in the shimano spinning line up (ultegra 14000?) but I haven't verified this. - This reel specifically would be used for casting out larger bait and sticking the rod in a rod holder. - Too heavy of a reel anyways to be casting lures over and over, so a slightly heavier knob is negligible. - See picks for size comparison Update 4/3/2024: - Liked it so much that I bought another knob for my dad's bigbaitrunner 14000 - Makes reeling in effortless versus the stock T knob

Great fit on my shamans reel, feels amazing, the deep black color will have you wondering how black can get any darker, and it feels high quality. It was pretty easy to install, but didn’t kids have to look it up on YouTube. Def worth the upgrade and would recommend over and over again.

Easy to install, and a great fitment on my Shimano Spheros SW 5000 with very little play. This color of knob isn't an exact match to the blue and gold of the Spheros but I am not a stickler on that kinda stuff, so it doesn't matter to me as much as it may to others. Much lighter than the original knob, a little heafty in hand, but a better feel than the oversized egg knob. Can't wait to give it a spin this weekend.

I wanted a overall smaller reel knob and this fit the bill perfectly. The roller bearings are a great upgrade over the nylon bushings that these reel handles come with. Installation was a snap also. This worked so well I bought a second one for my other reel. These were installed on Shimano Saragosa SW 6000’s. The kits came with extra parts which also included shafts that can be installed if needed. This kit is well worth the money. I highly recommend these to anyone wanting a better handle upgrade.

I fish in the NC surf. It can be demanding . Between pulling in 40 inch Redfish to the occasional 6 ft sandbar shark and even 6 inch pampano - a power knob makes it all a lot easier on you and your hands. I have power knobs on all my spinning reels and they all are from Gomexus. Easy install ( atleast for Shimano) . Smooth as can be and feel great. Highly recommend. Pictured is a 8000 saragosa for reference.

This handled it's beautiful, I was expecting so much out of it, however after using it only once I realize that it's not good for me The screw that holds the handle in place in my shimano Stella gets loose constantly, you have tighten it all the time It's a shame, it really looks great I will try with a little bit of glue and see if this solves the issue, however I'm worried that when I want to replace the handle, it will be impossible to undo This crew provide it should be self thightening, or something like the original handle shimano ships out
