I recently made the switch from Blue Buffalo to Victor Hi Pro Plus for my two older Schnoodles (ages 11 and 13), and the difference has been nothing short of remarkable. We’ve been very happy with this dog food. It was actually recommended to us by the person we bought our puppy from, and it has worked great so far. Our puppy really likes it and eats it without any issues. More importantly, it has been very easy on her stomach—no digestive problems, which was something we were concerned about when switching foods. The kibble size is appropriate for puppies, and the quality seems very good. We’ve noticed that our dog stays active and healthy, which gives us confidence that she’s getting proper nutrition. I bought this dog food because I needed something high in protein for an active dog. I wanted a premium option with good ingredients that would support energy and overall health. Good dog food

Though I've been ordering pet supplies from Amazon for a few years, and this is the first time I've written a review. A few months ago, I rescued a golden retriever mix named Bo. He had been living outside in our cold northern climate at his previous home. He was suspicious of everything, didn't have much of an appetite from stress, had a horrible matted coat, and really lacked energy or interest. I tried feeding him this Victor hi pro formula because it was high in protein which I thought would help his energy levels. I also liked Victor because while the ingredient quality is similar to premium brands, it is more reasonable on price. Bo immediately liked the food. He started eating well and gaining energy. Though he is eight, he now runs around and plays like a puppy even chasing his tail. His skin and coat were a mess from sleeping in the dirt at his old home, but now his coat is filling out and looking more full and healthy. I'm sure having a better home is part of his success, but I also think this Victor food is helping him greatly. Bo will be getting his Victor as long as I can help it.

So, I've been feeding my shepherd Science Diet large breed, but he's never been wild about it. I was recently told about Victor brand and decided to give it a try. I JUST ordered the 5 lb bag (to test it) last night and it already arrived by this afternoon! So there's a huge and unexpected plus. As soon as I opened the shipping envelope, my pupper went wild sniffing at the bag. I opened it and was surprised to see such tiny kibbles. They looked like little rabbit turds. But, they didn't smell any more offensive than any other dog food I've handed, so I scooped out a handful and let him have them. He gobbled the entire bit and then looked at me for more. Sprinkled some in his food bowl where his SD has been sitting all day, untouched, and it disappeared. That was several hours ago. His stool is fine, no stomach upset, and his kibbles can double as treats!! We'll see how it goes with this small trial bag, but if there's no problems, I'm going to make the switch permanent. I have already researched Victor and I loved everything I found out about them AND their foods. Plus, this stuff is cheaper than his current kibble!! Will update this review if anything changes or goes wrong, but so far we're pretty happy with it. Update 5/23: I'm sold. It hasn't been very long but Victor has won me (AND my dog) over. When I contacted the company with questions, they replied immediately and made sure my every concern was addressed. They were polite and friendly the entire time. My pup LOVES his food and he's even begun filling out a bit. Before on the SD he would nibble, but he was never an enthusiastic eater. He LOVES meal times now and cleans his bowl to a Straight-From-The-Package shine every time. He's got tons of energy and he is always happy. My boy deserves ONLY the best and I constantly compare Victor to other more obscure and expensive brands, but I have yet to find anything better for a comparable price. This company has found itself a very satisfied customer, and his owner. LOL
