Clairol ColorStrong Permanent Zero Ammonia Hair Dye, 2.8 Blue Black - Desert Nights Hair Color, Pack of 1

I have had issues with hair thinning. This product did not burn or irritate my scalp, nor did it cause any noticeable damage or increased shedding. I ordered the wrong color, this was too dark and red for my normal hair color. Otherwise great product. The color seems to be lasting (6weeks out). Hair seems to be doing well.

The reviews on this product are mixed, and I dont really understand how so I'm writing this to add my two cents.. While on vacation I purchased this from CVS because my grays were really grown out.. The instructions were very easy to follow.. I applied the clear primer, then mixed the developer and color together and began to apply to my roots. After waiting 25-30 min, I could see the color had developed fully and rinsed the dye off in lukewarm water in the shower then applied the included conditioner. My hair came out amazing, felt much softer than my previous brand, the color was a great match and all grays were actually covered! I did notice that when the bathroom was cold, the color wasnt developing as quickly until after I turned a heater on inside the bathroom.. but I've also noticed this with other brands in the past. After my hair dried, it did feel much softer, not as dried out as with the other brand.. and the color lasted without fading until the next time my roots grew out! I actually ended yo switching to this brand and the Toscana color, because its a more natural color and tone for my complexion! After 2 root touch ups, the color looks even nicer since I'm able to see it grown out a couple of inches, and it looks great in the sunlight! As for the "multidimensional" color, I didn't notice any significant miracles with the middle or ends if my hair because I've dyed it so dark the last 15 years, that nothing is going to add any highlights or dimension.. I do plan in using this and we'll see how it looks after the old brand has completely grown out, I can't wait to see my hair completely colored by this brand in the Toscana color. I had a great experience with this product and other brands failed to color all of my grays.. I was definitely impressed by the performance, the smell, it feels more gentle than my previous brand, and my hair doesn't feel as dry or coarse after using this 2 times. I hooe this helps anyone in the fence about purchasing this.. I may update this review again after more touch ups, and I think there are going to be some nice before/after photos too, as the color is more natural on me than any previous dyes I've used.

This is an amazing box color. First off, the shade is true to what you see online. Application was easy and neat, no dripping. Color, and most of all, shine is lasting even 3 weeks after application. I do like the conditioner that comes with it as well. I'll be using this again and again. My hair looks much better than salon coloring.

This color is beautiful. I am glad I found it. It’s a perfect auburn hue without too much red. That said, it does not cover grey’s. Luckily, I only have a few here and there but for someone with more to cover I would not recommend this product.

Excellent replacement for Wella Illumina lightest blonde colors. I was skeptical, using a new brand's 10 over 10/38 gold shade, but it lightened up well with 25v developer and softer, healthier results. No irritation, just follow retouch directions. My hair is short, so one kit could be split in future. Definitely a 10 for me!

I used this to freshen my current color,as well as color my grey roots,I have about 30 percent greys at my roots. This did not cover the greys at all,but,I give the 3 stars for the bonding treatment.

It is permanent, i previously used a temp. color. Do not leave on too long as it darkens quickly and stays that way. I think I will go back to temp. Color.

This is a string quality dye - w pretreatment / color retention/ & tons of post conditioner It was pretty damaging the time I deviated - left it on - say 10 minutes too long - so b ready and work fast It’s potent That being said I bought it again / waited longer to dye / obeyed the rules In my case, the care I have to do using it is well worth the quality of color There’s enough conditioner to use several times but I used a bond builder to repair my mistake Watch the clock / read instructions & most will do well It’s strong - pre-test as suggested

Magnificent end result. Soft, supple and natural looking. Covers my gray hair like no others. I need to stock up in case I don't find it anymore.

looks silky smooth after, beautiful colour and lasts a while

While the application was smooth it did not come out as the colour on the box. I went with the rose shade and it lightened my hair a bit. I’m already blonde so I’m not sure what happened but I’m disappointed for sure. Especially after what it cost.

Good colour. Awful perfume . At least offer a scent free option.

I want this so badly to last but it's so hard to cover old white hair
