Sturdy walking or trekking Poles
Bought this set of trekking poles for last weekend walk in Peak District.Package Content:2x Walking Poles2x Pole attachments2x for use in snow2x rubber attachment for the rocky terrain2x for use in soft sandThe trekking poles are quite smooth finish. There are 2 locking mechanism on each pole. The clip locks are on each pole, never had a twist and tight type of the walking pole before so can’t compare both to confirm if the twist one breaks after use, but these are quite sturdy though. The maximum height you can extended to your desire height based on the height indicators on the pole. I am 5’.9” but there was still some extension left in the pole so surely it can be used for person of 6ft or more. The trekking/hiking pole can be used for all terrain I would say. I used the attachment for the rocky terrain but then then to remove when I was in dry soil area as it was slipping away. When not in use and travelling you simply push the poles in and make sure you lock them so they don’t slip out accidentally which can be attached to the rucksack, it can be attached to the 75L rucksack I bought for my winter trekking. The poles are certainly very light weight and easy to carry on your shoulder and of course whilst walking. The hand grips are great as it didn’t slip anytime during the entire walk.Overall a great buy for the next walk and the adventure….I really hope you found my review helpful and would love for you to click on the “YES” button to say so. If you don't think my review has been helpful, before you click on the “NO“ button to say I was unhelpful, I would love you to leave me a comment with your thoughts, so I can try improving my future reviews.

Broke on the first hike
I bought these for a hiking trip. They are adjustable, which is great. The clasps seem nice and strong. The grip is cork and is really comfortable. You also get a bag for the poles, which is a nice plus. Collapsed length is not great, but OK (barely fits into a carry-on).However, one of the poles broke on the first hike during descent. They worked great up until that, but I was quite surprised to hear the snap. Requested and received a refund, so giving 2 stars instead of one.

Excellent poles
The poles ticked all the boxes for me. Lightweight; shorter than a lot of poles when closed so easier to carry or stow; sturdy; comfortable in the hand; a range of end fittings included. The anti-shock claim is a bit misleading as there is no spring system built in but the poles are fine without it.

Good walking poles
These are great poles and definitely help me coming down hill when walking. I would of liked them to fold up a bit smaller so they would fit under the rain cover over my bag.

So lightweight
I have mobility problems and someone suggested I use trekking poles. These were delivered the following day and I started using them immediately. They are incredibly lightweight, so much better than a walking stick as they have helped my posture enormously. Highly recommended

Was a bit unsure about getting so hiking poles, but got these as they seemed lightweight but sturdy for a 100km walk and they were brilliant, cork handles gave great grip. Highly recommended

Light and strong
Light, sturdy. Very strong and wearproof carbite tips. No shock absorbtion but cork hand parts absorb some vibration. Not perfect but solid thing!
