My friend searched around and asked me to help her order this spy camera as a gift for her husband. He served for custom agent, so he wanted to have a spy camera to take pictures as well as record video. He he wanted something small and small as much as it can be. I was testing it with my friend (before handing it to her husband on Xmas) several times during 4 days after receiving the order. We have customized it by putting this small camera inside the small ring on jacket’s pocket. It was as small as a penny, so we did it so easy. Secondly, we were able to click the button on the camera to take pictures even it was inserted in the jacket. Next, the SD card memory was large enough to store the images and the videos for us in one hour. This SD card memory was simply read by the card reader that was included in this set. Very convenient. Lastly, the image and the video were clear and good quality. So, this product was successful tested and we recommend this spy camera if you need small and convenient camera.

This was the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon so far. When I got it it took 2 videos before it stopped recording videos completely and only recorded a black screen with sound. The 2 videos it did record were of very poor quality. They were only 3 mins and 4.5 mins long but they were set for motion detection however after the end it never detected any motion, not even me coming to check it 30 minutes later. I made sure that it was fully charged so I know that's not the reason. I never got to check the night vision before the video capabilities stopped working. I can only assume that they are of similar quality as the rest of the camera. The sound quality was surprisingly great but with no picture what heck good is awesome sound?!??! The ad said it comes with a 32gb SD card but it only came with an 8gb card. I requested a refund from this seller, however, they questioned this and that until after the 30 days and then I was passed the refund date, which I'm pretty sure was their intent. I feel like this is a very very dishonest seller and this camera is of extremely poor quality. Do not waste your money or your time because you will lose both if you deal with this seller! There better sellers and better cameras to spend your money on and not lose it. If all you want is a high priced sound recorder then by all means buy this. Otherwise go elsewhere!

The directions are printed in English but obviously TRANSLATED by someone that doesn't speak English as a first language. I've had it since the 4th of July and still can't figure out the written directions. While setting it up I accidentally took a movie of myself - good video with sound - but I don't know how I did it?!? Audio and video are good! I don't know who made it - probably Chinese Communists - so I can't go to their wed site for help

Recently I purchased this and I really love it. It is very easy to carry and to set anywhere. It's so tiny and can be hidden very easily. Let's talk about picture quality, I can't believe that this tiny cam can have this much of good quality, video quality was superb!!!I really not tested its battery life as I charged it from time to time. If you want to see the recorded video, either you can take out micro SD card or just plug AVI cable in your camera and laptop. Good thing is that it creates a new video file in every 5 mins so very easy if you want the backup for a certain video.I also took pictures from it but I was not so impressive they were okay. But I will recommend it to others if they are looking tiny spy cam in these rates.

This little gadget is a great deal for what you get! The camera comes with intuitive mounting hardware, a data/charging cable, a 16GB microsd card, and a usb sd card adapter. Everything you need to get started, including easy to follow instructions.The camera is compact and light, with a long lasting battery. You can record in 720P or 1080. The motion sensor works great, and the night vision is functional. The unit records video in 5 minute increments onto the micro sd card. Using the usb adapter you can download the video to your computer easily. Keep in mind that the video is recorded in raw avi format, which is native to windows media player. This means that other players may not display the video without downloading the proper codecs. Also the raw format means that the videos can get quite large. This is a good thing though, as raw video means high quality video.Overall a great little unit at a great price! Will buy again!

Does take good video, however the motion detection was not effective. As a tiny video camera with sound it is OK. Tried many times to get motion detection to work. Manual difficult to understand, but you tube has good directions, but didn't help with motion detection (or night lighting).

Got it last night so I cant tell much about the battery life or a daylight picture quality.So far I noticed:1) the the sticker with colorful stripes came off2) the lens is buried deep in the body on a bad angle so the view is obstructed, which leads to a huge shadow that covers about 20% of the picture on the left side, which tells you enough about the build quality.Totally unacceptable for what you want to call a "camera"!3) I don't understand how to enable the motion detection function. I don't think there is any since the manual does not mention it at all.4) Also I don't understand what wifi connection was the other reviewer talking about. Again not a word about it in the manual.5) Speaking about the manual - the instructions and figuring out the functions is a disaster.6) difficult to remove the card from the reader7) difficult to insert and remove the card into/from cameraIt's fully charged and ready to use now so we'll see what it does in the daylight.I gave 2 stars for value because it seems to somehow capture some footage which may work for some users, and it comes with a card and a reader, but it's not what it sounds like in the advertisement.
