This sander has been a Godsend!! It's so easy to use, as in, it does the heavy work for you. All you have to do is point it in the direction you want it to go and then just hold on to it and watch for the Awesome results! I So appreciate the dust catcher, which works great. I have asthma, so I had wondered if it would catch enough to not trigger an asthma attack, and it did great! Changing the paper was easy, and the wire paper end holds were very good at keeping the paper in place. No slip like my old one was constantly doing. I can only say "Thank You SKIL!" for making this 5 star sander!

Works well but a bit pricey.

La utilicé para lijar rodajas de madera de pino, comenzando con grano 60 y terminando en 400, y el acabado quedó muy uniforme y suave. Después de varias horas de uso continuo no presentó calentamientos ni pérdida de rendimiento.

Works like a champ! I’m sanding off the crummy oil-based stain from my wood siding to put on water-based stain instead. Tough job! It has worked like a champ.

Guys, this is a great little handheld sander. It thinks it could hang with the big boys. Have used it on five chairs and a table top as well as outside porch posts. I have given this sucker a workout.

I am a big Porter Cable tool user. Didn't care for the hand grip on their sander. So I got this Skil, since I bought their table saw which is great. Sander does a really good job. Hand grip comfortable. Plenty of power. I was sanding outside so didn't use filter. What comes with the tool is a few pieces of pre cut sand paper, very rough grit, maybe 60 grit. So would be very hard to mount onto pad. I was using 120 and 180 grit. What I did was to take a standard size piece of sand paper, use their rough grit piece as a template, cut out my own pieces, just cut the length 1/8 inch longer for easier installation. Worked great that way. Not exactly sure what the hole puncher was for, maybe needed for the filters to be used.

Compre esta lijadora para trabajar algunos proyectos de carpintería en casa, no me decepciono su rendimiento y por el costo beneficio del equipo estoy muy contento. Espero que las piezas tengan una buena duración y la marca Skill vende muy buenos productos a un precio competitivo , posiblemente no sean de uso industrial o profesional pero si no les das un uso de esos , los equipos te darán muy buenos años de servicio y satisfacción a un precio adecuado no equiparable a las marcas mas costosas.

En general Cumple por el precio, pero no da los mejores acabados depende mucho de la lija y la presion, en cierto tipo de maderas con lija de buena calidad funciona bien. No para trabajos profesionales pero si para pequeños trabajos de casa.
