good quality NVR , no delays , connects well ,easy to use the sound quality is good as well , motion is smooth as well , stores overall its a value for money. supports the storage upto 2 TB.

I’m using it as an NVR for my Tapo TC70 and C320WS cameras. The VIGI mobile app lets you access video playback and view detection clips directly, and it also sends real-time notifications whenever motion or a person is detected. Both the C320WS and TC70 are connected to the NVR via RTSP. There’s a slight delay of about 10–20 seconds between the recorded playback and the live feed, although the live video in the VIGI app itself has only a 1–2 second delay. One odd thing I noticed is that the box doesn’t include a LAN cable — which is strange, considering a wired internet connection is essential for the system to work properly. Update: Motion detection is acting weird. Even after an event occurs, the motion detection continues for several minutes — or sometimes even hours — for no apparent reason.

I was already using a Hikvision Eco Series DVR with 5 wired cameras and also had 2 TP-Link Tapo Wi-Fi cameras installed at home. The main issue was that DVR cameras were visible on the TV/screen, but the Wi-Fi cameras could only be viewed separately on the mobile app. I wanted to see all cameras together on one screen in live view. I also wanted to switch to an NVR, but moving directly to a full NVR setup would have made my existing cameras useless. That’s why I purchased this TP-Link NVR, and it solved my problem perfectly. ✔ Connected my existing DVR to the NVR easily ✔ Added Wi-Fi cameras without any issue ✔ Now all cameras are visible together in live feed on a single screen ✔ Easy management through the VIGI app ✔ Allows gradual upgrade from wired cameras to IP cameras in the future Note: Some reviews mention that the NVR gets stuck on the TP-Link screen during the first boot. I experienced this once as well, and it’s just a minor software glitch, not a hardware issue. The solution is simple: open the NVR, press the internal reset button, and restart the device. After resetting, the problem is completely resolved and the NVR works normally. If you’re using a mixed setup (DVR + Wi-Fi cameras) and want everything integrated into one system, this NVR is an excellent solution. Highly recommended!

Don’t buy this product it’s wast of money. Not working as well.

I'm using with tapo wifi cameras and it's works fine good quality item video quality is amazing easy to use and software updates are regularly providing by tp link so no worries for data security over all good product I'm satisfied

Using since 1yr ..long term review .. Good user interface ,camera quality, connectivity value for money. I use 4tb wd surveillance hard disk works good and reliable. Can connect external storage .. Do not have inbukit wifi,need to connect to woto rouwrt with cable

Value for money and works fine with the VIGI camera and also you can play around to add other brand cameras. You no need any technician to do.

Great product. Was easy to setup and there is a web portal for management after initial setup. Works wonderfully with VIGI VMS cloud. Remote view, PTZ control all are excellent via the app. Definitely recommend for budget setups.
