Great Cedar smell. Does the job well.

The fragrance is really good and woody. My husband thinks it smells like pine, but I don't really get a pine smell from it. I wanted to use this to add fragrance to laundry, but it's not very strong, so you need a lot to make it pull through in the wash or dryer, which is unfortunate. I'm hoping it'll work well as an insect repellant, as summer is ticking closer and more and more bugs are crawling out from the depths to inconvenience me at every turn. I'll update this review when I know whether it's effective against the spawn.

Smells like real cedar but also has a bit of a burnt after smell kind of like these were made from a leftovers from a woodmill.

This is actually really good Cedar EO with a great pleasant scent and good potency. I ended up buying some Cedar Atlantica EO to mix with it, which gives a more "universal cedar" type scent profile, which smells like fresh cut cedar logs, which is what I was going for, but make no mistake, this is the one that smells more like what everyone recognizes as cedar. The other stuff adds the necessary undertones to complete the picture, but it's THIS EO that is doing the heavy lifting. If you're going to get on Cedar EO, get this one. If you're going to blend for the perfect Cedar scent, still get this one, but also get some Atlantic Cedar to balance it out with.

Not sure if it’s cedarwood, since I was expecting a cedar smell. Definitely woodsy, and great smelling, I’d say it’s actually pleasant and somewhat bright. But if you are expecting it to smell like cedar chips, it is off.

Disappointed. The cedar oils have little smell and no scent. I expected a stronger natural seed of word aroma, but I could barely smell anything. Unfortunately, did not meet my expectations.

So, this product is exactly what it claims to be and, I suppose I got my money's worth, I just wish I had done some research beforehand. Again, this is pure Himalayan cedar oil (real cedar) the type of cedar I was looking for was Virginia cedarwood (technically a member of the juniper family) This oil is woodsy, earthy, and lovely. But I was looking for that freshly sharpened pencil smell, when you first step into a sauna, or a neighbour redoes their fence, shingles, or siding. This oil is not that scent. All in all it is still a beautiful scent, and I will find other uses for it... and if the manufacturer is reading this, and feels like adding Virginia cedarwood to your stock, you will have a repeat customer.

I checked a few reviews from various providers and went with this one due to the positive feedback on the smell. I'm happy with the purchase, cedarwood smell was strong enough without being overpowering and was a pleasant smell. Bought this to mix with some other essential oils to make a moth deterrent home blend for some drawers. Great purchase
