AVOID AT ALL COST
Absolute garbage! Every part leaked regardless of applying Teflon tape. Wrenches only fit certain parts. No nozzle directions and instructions were completely useless. No way in hell this tiny kids motor was 1200. Had the power of a airbrush kit. Never will I buy this cheap Chinese garbage again.

much better than HVLP for indoors
I have a bunch of scores for this device:- price: 5- construction: 4- instruction manual: 1- quality: 4- noise: 4- cleanup: 3To start with, the instruction manual is not very helpful. This is an item that has very specific 'before', 'during', 'when pausing' and 'cleanup' steps. If you do not know what those are or you forget to do them, you could be in for a lot of disappointment. I found a bunch of useful videos on line that can easily be applied to this painter and I highly recommend viewing them. This one thing was probably my biggest disappointment.I have looked at reviews other have posted and there are some good points.- I had a very hard time disassembling the spray gun/handle to clean the filter in the handle. It eventually unscrewed from the body at the top of the trigger guard.- There are some confusing things on the painter... like the sticker that says 'Fuel every day'. This is some translation gone bad. It is meant to remind you to oil it daily. But even that is kind of odd. If you look inside the slot that appears to be where you are meant to oil it, there is a blob of grease in mine. I would think there would be an oil port or hole or something other than a ventilation slot.- the spray handle was not super comfortable to hold. Fortunately I found one for about $20 that is easy to hold and easy to clean that works with this painter.I found there are plenty of generic parts that work with this painter for the filters, spray handle, tips, etc. So in general its pretty easy to tweak things to get the result I am looking for. I purchases several spray tips for different spray patterns.I had a wagner airless sprayer that had a feature I wish this one has: It was tall enough to stand over the 5 gallon bucket so the intake and exhaust hoses didnt need to contort. The way this one works is not great but it seems to be the trend. This beats HVLP sprayers in terms of getting paint on the wall, not having to thin the paint so much, not needing to constantly refill, and way way less overspray in the area.Where HVLP sprayers are nice is they are easier to clean after use. This is not really useful if you are planning on painting like one gallon of paint. You can do it, but you will spend more time cleaning than painting. This is pretty much the case for all the airless sprayers I have used. It rocks for getting a nice coat with 5+ gallons of paint. Think big projects good, small projects ... not really convenient.Overall, for me, I have to paint stuff occasionally and am not a pro. It makes big jobs easier. For little jobs, I use a brush/roller or the HVLP sprayers.

Not worth the hassle
I feel there are better options to be found, even if they might be slightly higher than this price point. I would rather pay a bit more and have something I feel confident could easily be used again or multiple times while understanding how to setup and use said tool. This is not that tool. Instructions were useless, especially if you're not mechanically inclined or have used a tool like this before. The fact that this leaked from the get go really made me loose my confidence in this even being close to quality. Reading other reviews after that at least reassured me I wasn't alone in my dissatisfaction. Using this was more hassle than it was worth.

Bottom of the barrel overall quality, but gets the job done (or at least one) at a minimal price.
I fully understand that this is a DIY machine, but beyond that, DIY shouldn't mean "single use only" quality. If you plan to use this Machine for 1-3 Residential Projects, you may get that out of it, and at $199 asking price, you get A LOT OF VALUE out of it, and that's where the stars come from. However, unless your goal is save the last penny, and sometimes you have to, there are other entry level options that while still on the DIY spectrum, are built with a little more attention to detail, even if the manufacturing cost is slightly higher some components definitely are of single use quality.I used it to paint the whole interior of a 3/2 Bedroom Townhouse and the results were great for what it is, performance was as expected at DIY level and results were consistent. The gun is bottom of the barrel quality, oh yeah the nozzle guard arrived broken and the gun box very roughed up, the hose is pretty standard for this price range, the nozzle also of pretty low quality feeling, but performed well, the Nozzle Extension Wand is of pretty decent quality.Every "secondary" accessory is absolutely single use/disposable quality, the filters both the in-paint, and feel very disposable. The seals also feel single use and the connections WILL LEAK unless super tight which is a potential mess if you don't triple check that everything is super tight, the threading doesn't feel like it'll last long either.Aside from all the listed negatives, for $199 did a pretty decent job, and performed pretty well, some of the downsides were noticeable when the machine was packed back up and the feel of the materials isn't very good and you can tell there is some loss of life by every time you put it together/apart and wash the components, sure, it'll happen with the usage of ANY machine, but this felt like it sucked some of its usable life already, again great deal compared to contracting a painter if you're a DIYer, so that's where it retains its stars on VALUE, not QUALITY, but again: IT'LL DO THE JOB.

Such perfect coverage - EVERYWHERE!
Stunning, gorgeous, beautiful! We recently used this to paint our garden fence, bedroom and hallway walls and garage doors. All different types of paint, all covered AMAZINGLY. I couldn't have wished for more. The sprayer is so easy to clean between uses and the spraying itself is incredibly simple. The build quality is great and everything about it feels durable and long lasting. So incredibly worth the price tag and I plan to use this for as long as humanly possible until it packs in.
