Great product!
These are well-made, comfortable wool boxers. They keep your bits warm in winter and cool in summer and they look good.

I’ve tried a lot of pairs.
Merino wool is amazing! These were a good price so I thought I’d give them a try. All merino wool boxers seem to run small, and there’s always a small risk of shrinkage. So I always size up. I’m normally a medium. I got a large. The fit is slightly loose in the waste, which is kind of annoying, as they tend to ride down. Unfortunately the elastic waste won’t shrink. I suppose if I bought a medium they would have fit my waste better. But the “large” legs fit perfect with a tiny bit of room to spare. So, even if the legs shrink a little they will be fine. The butt area is cut high and small, and feels a little tight. According to my wife, I have no butt, so I’m not sure what truly large person these would fit? They fit me slightly awkward in this area but I’m keeping them for the price. I like that they wrapped the elastic with wool, so that it won’t be a sweat trap, hopefully. Although I’m curious to see how well it will wear. I have a feeling this will be a weakness in their design. These are made of a slightly heavier fabric than some of the other known name brands in merino yet these are cheaper$. I hope that means they’ll be more durable—while delivering greater value—remains to be seen but I have high hopes. Most of my other merino stuff has lasted for years. So maybe I’ll come back in a few years and update my review. Lol. But they seem like a safe bet. TWO YEAR UPDATE: These have high fabric quality and been fine but I wouldn’t buy them again due to awkward fit. These have worm fine. And held up fine. Everything I said above about good fabric quality and the fit being slightly awkward still applies. After many brands, of which this was one I tired, I’ve settled on “Meriwool” being my favorite for merino boxers.

Extremely Impressed
I recently bought these for hiking the Haute Route in Switzerland in September, which is an intense multiple day hike. These deserve 5 stars and probably out compete the very top brands in the US and Europe. They are extremely comfortable while also durable. They are cozy warm when in cold conditions while also not causing you to overheat during the heat of the day or when climbing up the mountain for hours, which I was a bit concerned about since they are thicker than most other Merino briefs I tried. I think you could wear them in the summer without any issue. Perfect wicking performance and had excellent resistance to odor and bacteria growth, better than the other brands I tried like the REI Merino Briefs. I've tried a lot of gear and a lot of brans and I was extremely happy with this purchase.

Too baggy.
Too baggy. I got the size that fit my waist and even though I have thunder thighs, they ride up and bunch up and are just not comfortable.

Great for hiking.
May run a little small. My husband wears a size medium pant but a large in these.

Very comfortable & no odors
I run in all temperatures. Things sometimes get cold, so I wanted something that might provide a bit of insulation on colder days. I have only worn these a few times, but I am very satisfied so far. On a shorter run in about 35 degree weather I felt like I stayed warmer than with typical performance underwear. The real test was during a 50k ultramarathon this past weekend. It was 30-40 degrees with a light rain during the event. I was generating plenty of heat, so that was no problem. What really impressed me was how dry I stayed. I felt like the underwear wicked moisture well and prevented chaffing. My only possible criticism is that they could be a bit more form-fitting. They allow a little more movement than I would like, but that comes down to individual fit and preference. Besides keeping me dry, the odor management was amazing. Normally I need a shower after a 5-10k run. After running a 50k these underwear still smelled fresh. The hype on Merino wool holds up! I would highly recommend these underwear if you want comfort, moisture management and odor control (don't we all want those things?). I am 5' 10", weigh 180 pounds, have a 34" waist and fairly athletic build. Size medium fit me very well.

Not durable, but comfortable
They are comfortable. They are not durable. I have had mine for 6 months and they are full of holes and torn. I have hand washed and layed out to dry as instructed. I have 4 pair and only one has stayed in tact as expected.
