It is described as a "skeleton" watch, which it is not. The movement is not visible, the case is sealed and cannot be opened, but the watch keeps good time and looks the part.

Lovely watch, made really well, nice and weighty in the hand and most importantly it keeps excellent time.I wind it up every night, gently and stop when I feel resistance. Mine gains about a minute every three to four weeks, which is quite remarkable for the price!I may have been lucky with this one and can only review on the one I have, but I have to say its an excellent watch.

Probably the best low money watch in my collection..runs for 2 days when wound no Sharp edges medium wait good quality for money..

If your a watch freak like I am this watch is a must for you. It has the feel of a good watch, showing antique age. It works perfectly keeping very good time, requiring rewinding about every 12 hours. It doesn't look cheap one little bit. The casing looks like it could be made of copper or at least a material that has a copper base to it. For a very reasonable price, you get an outstanding watch. It comes well wrapped and it good time, pardon the pun. Recommend.
