Doctor's Best Prebiotic Powder Supplement with Sunfiber Guar Fiber, 7.4 oz

It tastes like mochi to me and I like taking it in water as it tastes good. Mixes fairly well. I give it a good stir and let it sit for a little bit so it dissolves more, but I will just eat the clumps if there are some still. If you like mochi, you should like it. I'm trying it because I am having problems with bloating reacting to fiber because of digestive issues. I can't say whether it's good for my usage yet, but I don't think it's causing me to bloat.

Okay, I have apparently been dealing with pretty serious gut issues for many years. I chalked it up to stress, some weight gain, etc. My wife suffered from "leaky gut" (I know; sounds fake...just google it..it's REAL) and used a similar product from a local healthfood store to incredible effect. I was doubtful this would do anything, but I started taking it. Immediately, I noticed some GI discomfort, some gas/bloating. This was partially mitigated by increasing fiber intake (also found here on Amazon; Naturebell's 3-in-1 2000mg stuff). But there's no sugar-coating it; I had some bubble-gut for a few days. BUUUT. Afterwards, my life changed. Seriously. I realized that I had some serious, chronic gut inflammation/irritation. For decades. I was only absorbing a portion of the food and vitamins I ate. I can't recommend this enough. Your gut takes time to regulate. This has changed my life.

Good product, however, not really sure if it is doing anything. It's not one of those products where something happens right away, at least in my experience. This product, overall, is relatively high priced in the supplement area. It cold be one to try for a 3-month period with probiotics to find out if someone feels better in different ways, as in elimination, gas, bloating, etc. I like to try trendy products backed by science, like this version, to see if it helps with overall health. There are other brands with larger containers, although this one was a relatively good buy for the price per ounce. It averages 30 servings, so a good trial, IMO, would be a repeat purchase. One may try the Subscribe & Save, to save more, about $0.10 per ounce, and cancel after the 3 months if nothing has improved.

I love this stuff and will keep reordering it because I notice a big difference between when I take it and when I don’t as far as whether or not I have hunger cravings that day. I mix it with some casein protein powder in the morning and never get cravings to eat bad or sugary during the day. It dissolves easily and has no taste aside from a slight texture. I wish I would have found this stuff earlier. It’s slightly pricey for what it is and part of me thinks it could be possible to get as much fiber from other sources, but I think that would cost more in the long run and take much more meal prep planning into account

I love Dr's Best - this product is recommended for people who have tummy issues. I've noticed this prebiotic fiber feeds good gut bacteria but doesn't cause gas or bloating or irritation. It has no discernible flavor. I like to mix it into my coffee or protein shake. It mixes easily without any clumps in both hot and cold beverages. It has helped with heartburn and other issues so I rate it as effective and Drs Best always has the best quality products in my opinions

I’m sure this might work for others but it kept me awake for some reason. I was using it to combine with melatonin for better sleep (chronic insomniac here) but had more luck with the chelated magnesium glycine lysinate version. Weirdly, less melatonin worked better than more. I suppose I could try taking it earlier in the day and see if it’s more of a delayed effect.

A great addition to my stack that I can’t get from consuming food.
