Sherpak Seattle Sports Go! 15 Bag, Black/Silver

very difficult to get on and off car. It ripped on our second trip. straps flap around.

Not knowing that there was a silver-topped one, I ordered the one with the black top and saw the silvered advertised on the box when it arrived. Sent the black one back, as we travel in hot climes. We live in Palm Desert CA, and took it to Burning Man. Easy to load, but be sure to zip it up all the way, and be sure that the flap that covers the zipper is pulled completely down. I suspect that this is the reason some reviewers had water inside the bag.Works best when full. The straps are great, as they secure the carrier on all four sides. Be sure the buckles are completely snapped into each other, it's easy to get one not completely snapped. The straps are a pain as are the straps on all roof-top carriers. There's no perfect solution, you have to try various ones until you find one so the strap doesn't come loose and flap against the roof.

Sadly, although the design of the bag is very good and serves a very useful purpose, two of the straps broke on first usage. We had to substitute our own bungee cords to keep it in place.

I followed instructions and filled bag on top of car, strapped the bag with the zipper facing towards the rear and drove over 700 miles. The Sherpack Go did great. It is a little awkward to pack while on top of a small suv. Probably best to use a small ladder or a three step stool. The clips they provide to hold the excess strap does not work well I had to use cable ties. But wow I freed up so much space I packed 4 sleeping bags, 2 duffle bags, 2 book bags, 2 deflated queen air mattresses and my six person tent

I'm extremely glad I bought this car top bag before a trip we took in July! We had four people and two dogs traveling in my little-ish 11 yr old Subaru wagon. The Sherpa Bag holds LOTS of stuff and I never worried that it would move or fall off my car. Nothing inside ever got wet and it did rain on us in patches. It saved our vacation time in the car from being unbearably crammed up!

Used this on top of my Subaru for a camping trip. Followed the instructions and tied it down really tight.It didn't move an inch for 6 hr drive where I was driving [speed redacted] miles per hour.It is big to store when not in use, I just keep it in the back of my car because I don't have kids and rarely need the extra space.

worked very well on a recent road trip. lightweight and when straps tightened well was quiet and held our stuff with room tospare.

Our car lacked the carrier bars so we had to have the straps through the car as instructed and it worked very well. It shifted a little but all in all we are happy with it. It holds a lot.
