These are truly compostable and that is important to me. Do be aware that they are SO compostable that you need to empty your container frequently or these bags begin to break down in your container. We love these and have made the purchase many times. Will continue to use - we will just continue to empty the compost container frequently!

I use these for my biodegradable cat litter. They hold the litter pretty well. I am very surprised at how sturdy they are. As to the longevity of the bags, I don’t know as I toss these in the large trash bin. But I figured these are better than using regular plastic bags for litter. However, I did notice that when I used for regular trash, if anything wet was thrown in, they started to break down and weaken a little. But I guess that’s the point. Otherwise, I am happy with these and feel that I am at least doing a tiny part in helping reduce plastic use.

These bags fit perfectly in my countertop composting bin and are a great value for the price. I usually go through this size pack in ~ 1 year. To maximize their lifecycle and strength over time, I find it works best to minimize exposure to air and light. My trick for doing this is to NOT Open the box and instead just cut a small hole in the top and pull out each bag as needed. This means that exposure to light and air flow is minimized particularly for all bags except the top one in the cue. Using this approach I have been able to avoid noticeable degradation for 2+ years, at which time the bags were all used Not sure how long this could have worked because I ran out of bags before I saw any issues!

I love these bags for being compostable. They work great in our 2.5 gal compost bin. I have not had any collapse from compost wetness (to this point) and we've used them for over a year.

First off, I plan to reorder these bags. Using them reduces my feelings of guilt over landfill plastics, and they do the job they're intended for. Pros: - They're relatively inexpensive compared to some similar bags - Serve most of my standard household trash needs just fine - Relieve my conscience a bit Cons (minor): - They're not as sturdy as some of the name brand trash bags but I didn't expect that. As long as I don't fill them with heavy or sharp-cornered items, durability's not an issue. - Moisture will collect on the outside of the bag, particularly if it's not lining a container that allows for air passage. I switch out the bag that I use for my cat's litter box two to three times a week, but the dampness seeps through. It's not pleasant, but neither is cleaning a litter box. Not a deal breaker. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

This are genuine composting bags so they deteriorate pretty quickly when you put compost in them. That's actually a good thing since many compost bags are meant for municipal dumps and can't be used in compost bins. I keep my compost in the freezer so that it don't leak all over an make a mess. I go though one of these bags every couple of days so really appreciate being able to buy them in bulk.

Size is good for family of 4 that cooks 2 meals per day. It's made in USA and materials are decomposable, quality is guaranteed and feel like creating less burden to the environment lol

This compostable bag degrades quickly and completely in my low and slow compost pile. Way better than the others.

They are very strong!! I used to use Glad bags more expensive and always ripped just putting them in the container Waste of money!! These are amazingly strong Great purchase!! Just did my second purchase!!

Bags are a bargain compared to the old compostable bags that we were using. The only small con is the bottom of the bags are made awkwardly. Doesn’t affect the function of the bag though.
