This is the most amazing kit!! I’ve worked in many natural history museums, so this kit reminded me of those days. There are few words in the instructions, but all the parts are labeled very well and the illustrations are great. The entire kit is very well organized and the materials are high quality. There was one piece that was mislabeled and a bit too wide (a YouTuber had the same experience), but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The scene looks so real, down to the individual books and sketches. I’m less than a quarter of the way in and enjoying every minute!

What an amazing piece of work! This was my 2nd MiniCity build, (my 11th nook completed) and compared to the first MiniCity kit I did (Pianist with Nightingale-very challenging, very delicate) this one was a complete joy to do! It has greater than 700 pieces, which made it very detailed, and had a 5 star difficulty rating, which I think has more to do with the time commitment on this piece, rather than it being overly delicate & complicated. Most of the components were snap together, which I personally prefer, and were ‘snug’, so you still had to be careful, and not be too aggressive and break the pieces, but my kit pieces fit perfectly with the right amount of pressure! It’s a sturdy piece of work, and I just can’t get over all the detail within it! I love the side ‘windows’ so that you can see what is going on in the back! I also like that this kit comes with glue- I am a fan of the B7000 glue, the fine tip edge comes in VERY handy for the very small pieces that require gluing. I also use my own favorite mixed media craft glue for the bigger pieces. This kit also came with a tiny mallet, which is very cute, but I was too nervous to hammer too many of my pieces together- I did use it for a couple hard to snap together pieces, but very sparingly- still, a nice (cute) touch for this kit. I also think the dust cover is a must (which this kit has) to keep your work clean & dust free. I highly recommend this nook, you don’t have to be a fan of Hemingway to appreciate the intricate detail in this piece! But the tribute to him is very cool! It was not as hard as I was anticipating, but I wouldn’t start with this one as a beginner. I think this one is a must do for fans of book nooks/miniatures!!

This a great, challenging booknook. It was one of my favorite to put together. Mini city is pretty good, (although 1 was not so much) Start with one w a mini hammer, save it, you'll use it with every one you do. Save all the glues..you'll never run out and you'll have extra for some that don't include glue. Read reviews, compare prices and try one company at a time. Have fun!

This is my first puzzle I’ve done and I found the directions to be very easy to follow. I plan on doing more. Would love to have more Harry Potter options

This one is a good challenge. Suggestions: Step 11, part F3 should be assembled like part F2. Steps 140, 141 very fragile and a touch of glue on R3 will help keep together. Warm water will help plastic pieces bend. I recommend assembly of most pieces before adding decorations. Glue most everything down. I found this one to be fun and intense.
