Q: Will it protect against black mold

I used mine to clean out an area of black mold in a kitchen renovation and suffered no ill effects but it was not an overly heavy or deep infestation. I would say it depends on how much black mold you will be dealing with light to medium but I would not say an extra heavy amount of mold.

Q: I see that the questions about replacement filters haven't been really answered. Why? And why isn't there a link to the filters put on this page?

Q: Can this mask be used (or fit) under a welding helmet?

Possibly...my son is a welder and it would be "close" because it depends how much depth the welding shield allows...do believe the respirator mask is more heavy duty and thicker than just normal safety glasses, so they may protrude further out. I will have my son try mine with his shield to see, then post the result.

Q: How can I get more of the filter cottons, plastic covers, and filter boxes?
