Really, REALLY nice!
First, I got this using their Promo code and I had $5.00 off from my Amazon card, and another deal I used with it, and it only cost me $22.00... Had I been able to get another $5.00 Gift Card it would have only been $17.00 Still, I am really happy with it, it is worth the total cost that they normally have it for at $39.00... It's HEFTY, that's all I can say, it's nowhere near as large as the images try to make it out to be, but it's BIG enough. A machete it ain't, but a large knife it is. It's also sharp, it cuts paper pretty good, I am sure that it could be sharper, but it's good enough for me. The blade is 8-3/8" from the tip to the end of the actual sharp part of the blade. It is 1-7/8" wide at its widest. The handle is 'about' 6", at its longest, the inner part where you'd grip it is 4-5/8". The handle is comfortable, and would fit a smaller hand or a mid-size hand fine, and probably large hands. I just have normal mid-sized hands, and it fits me perfect. The sheath is VERY NICE, the knife doesn't rattle around in it, but if you move it hard enough to try and make a noise, it does hit the inner parts, but, wearing it would not be ANY problems whatsoever. I'm not sure if it's Kydex or not, but it's made out of good material, I'm not an expert on plastics, but it's not a cheap-o by any standards. The knife clicks in with a very tactile clunk, it's a good fit. It's easy to remove, too, it will not fall out if you were doing jumping jacks. The sheath also has an adjustment that fits a larger belt, it's just the normal type on these type knives. It comes set up for a 1-1/2" belt size, but if you remove the removable bar inside it'll fit a 2-1/4" belt, so that part is pretty good. (That was my measurements anyway, I didn't try any belts out at all) I am pretty sure that if you get this, and, it's good metal, you'll be really happy with it, I'm also not a metallurgist, so, there's that. It is 'supposed to be' good metal from what I have read. Being honest, I am not a Tanto blade type guy, I mean, I am sure that will change because this is already my favorite knife that I own, it impressed me that much. I am not sure what the design on the blade is all about, it doesn't hurt a thing, and it's different, and really, it's not that noticeable. It could sure be a good conversation starter.

Unreal Quality for the Price
This knife blew me away for what it cost—seriously impressive. The DC53 steel holds a wicked edge and feels tough enough to handle anything I throw at it. The fit and finish are solid, and it’s got a good weight and balance in the hand. If you want a durable, high-quality blade without spending a fortune, this one's a no-brainer.

Awesome knife at a great price!
The knife itself is very solid, well constructed, very sharp and well balanced. I was hoping to have the option to carry it horizontally however the sheath is very loose- no retention whatsoever that it ( the knife) will easily fall off . I don’t understand how a company can make a great knife and come up short with the sheath. Update: I saw a YouTube video on how to tighten a loose kydex sheath and after seeing how simple it was I was able to correct this very simple issue. Now I have an awesome knife with a tight fitting sheath! I changed my rating to 4 stars and I hope the seller/manufacturer will make that minor tweak to the sheath. Now I’m very happy with this purchase- awesome knife at a great price.

Great out of box value, even better project
For 35 bucks for a huge chunk of good steel, it's pretty much an unbeatable value. It comes out of the box ready to go and it's a beast of a knife. I did a few easy and simple things to make it much better for me. I mounted the belt clip differently and used loctite on the threads, good enough for around the property and camp sites. I sanded the exposed tang around the handle just to soften the edges, avoiding the hammer end. I took one of the screws off of the end of the handle to fit a lanyard, I used a file to make the choil big enough to choke up and get a full grip, even with large gloves. I used the file and a course/fine diamond stone to convex the main edge slightly, keeping the 20° apex. The file and diamond stones made short work of it. i touched up the top of the blade but kept the factory grind because I expect to scrape, shovel, dig, pry and hit rocks/dirt with it. It's fun to use and performs great. Seems to hold an edge well after testing. I'll be using it as a small chopper to clear some bush and process wood on the property and take to the camp site. If someone wants a cheap project knife that needs something they can make mistakes on and only needs a few mods then I really can't recommend this enough

Fantastic chopper
This bad boy cuts, chops, is heavy, and yet it’s so balanced! Full tang, is actually really not too long, so it’s definitely not a machete but you can absolutely use it clear brush. It’s super sharp, screaming sharp. And the sheath is amazing, very solid lock up, and something I really, really, really like: The blade doesn’t touch the inside of the sheath when it’s secured!! At least as far as I can tell. The snap in fit for the kydex seems to be secured to the handle. I love this, cause you can carry it around and not worry about it bumping into things and scraping your fine edge on the inside hard plastic - unlike some knife companies… lookin at you cold steel…. Dude, it’s super cheap, super functional, awesome steel, just get it.

Amazing blade
Absolutely awesome knife (same as the Ba-Kor) except for the design on the blade which I think is very cool. Has a cool texture to it too. The size/weight of this blade is outstanding! Very fast knife for its size and seems really well balanced. I own several knives that cost up to 5x this blade and would trade any one of them for this every day of the week

A Great Bargain
Definitely a budget mini machete, came sharp and has good ergos with decent steel in DC53. It chops well and doesn’t seem to have any issues with rolling or chipping after being overly rough at it. I think it can be ideal as a light bush knife, I’m not a fan of the two toned treatments on the blade. Looks a little too mall ninja for my tastes. Handles are ok, they seem to be a version of GRN that this manufacturer uses on its other knives. But it works well and helps keep the price point reasonable. I notice they are currently out of stock on this model, unfortunate as it is getting good reviews on the internet.
