Picture frame glass breaks sometimes. Let’s be real. It’s a shame that it’s so difficult to find replacement glass or plexiglass that doesn’t break the bank. Exhaustive searches all came up expensive. You either have to buy in multi-packs that you don’t need or custom order and pay through the nose for shipping to get one piece. The local hobby stores don’t even carry single replacements. The local home stores are also pricey to cut one piece. How is it that it’s less expensive to buy a whole new frame? Oddly enough, that’s how we ended up with the whole frame when all we wanted was the plexiglass. For that reason, it really didn’t matter what the frame looked like. We normally wouldn’t get a basic black plastic frame. To review the acrylic plexiglass, however, it’s great. It fits our existing frame as a simple replacement for broken glass. The art looks new again. And we don’t have to worry about glass breaking again. The acrylic is as clear as glass and looks fine. It’s just too bad that the rest of the frame is wasted. Oh, we should mention the backing. The latches were easy to undo to take the frame apart, and there are embedded hangers both horizontally and vertically. The hangers look to be attached well enough for a poster, but we wouldn’t be comfortable with them supporting heavy artwork. All in all, we want to deduct points for the principle that you have to waste a frame to get a simple replacement part. But that’s not this particular frame’s fault. And in fact, this relatively inexpensive frame allowed us to get the part we needed. So if you don’t mind black and want to use the plastic poster frame as a whole, it’s a nice product and it deserves a 5.

I was looking for a picture frame that had a low profile. The location that the frame was going to be placed in had a low clearance due to an upside-hinged swinging medicine cabinet door. This picture frame was perfect for the application and allowed the medicine cabinet door to open unobstructed. Also, the picture frame is made of non-shatterable material making it ideal for use in our camper trailer. The external dimensions were exact which was important as the wall space where the frame was going to be used was limited. The color of the frame was uniform, the frame was not warped, there were no visible seams of small gaps at the corners, the transparency of the "glass" was clear, and the frame appeared to be well-assembled.

This 8.5 x 11 frame is larger on the outside because of the wide frame, but the picture inside the frame is limited to 8 x 10.5. With a small frame losing 1/2 inch is a lot, but this is still a nice frame in unbreakable HD plexiglass with a clean and minimal profile. Good for a go-to frame when I don't care about the reduced area, but when every square inch counts I want a frame that is almost invisible while it shows the entire printed image at 8.5 x 11.

Frame was well protected as well as the plexiglass. Backing has a well built locking system. Highly recommend!

Very light weight, perfect for framing small puzzles. Came with a film so that it did not get scratched. Backing feels very secure. Will buy again in future.

Worked great. It was fairly steady. The plexiglass was clear and it was easy to get the picture in there. It is the exact quality I expect for the price but looks great on the wall.

I purchased this to frame a poster for my nephew, and it was the right size for the poster. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the frame. It seemed a little cheaply made, but it served its purpose. I thought it would be glass but it was plastic.
