First and foremost, this is cute no matter what and I'm very happy with my purchase and delivery time.Dress: Obviously, don't expect expensive material or anything. However, this is not cheap material either and will definitely get you through your event in one piece. The length is perfect because it is not too short, but still rests a couple inches above the knee to give a cute flair.Belt: I'm about 5' 7" (130 lbs) and the belt is too big around my waist. I will be using my own belt for this and I am okay with that.Cap: I agree with the other reviews; this hat definitely looks like an old time night cap. That being said, I am glad I know where my santa hat is.Cape: Fits and sits well around the shoulders.Overall: Considering the usual price range for these kind of costumes, this is well worth the money for the material and pieces that are included. I'm a happy camper :)

The quality is good and it will work great for me as I host our Christmas Brunch. The length of the dress hits me right on the knee (I'm 5' 3") and the sleeves fit perfectly. The belt is too long for me, but I'll make it work. Love the caplet - it really completes the dress and adds some class to the outfit. I'll probably use my own hat - it's fluffier than the one provided but all in all not a bad purchase.

This was an inexpensive costume purchased for a holiday event at our museums. I am a solid size 10 and it fit perfectly, so size 10 and below is good for you....a larger size, not so much. It is stretchy and comfortable for sure. I wore red and white striped tights with it and cute black heels as well as an undershirt for warmth. The hat was fine but not as plush as some you can purchase separately. I think this was a great outfit for the money and look forward to wearing it again next year. I also plan to sew some jingle bells on the cap or skirt to really make a splash!

Really cute costume, fit me and I'm a 5'5" woman that is about 135 lbs. The belt was kind of long though but you can cut it if you have to. The belt is felt so it sticks to the costume really god. The hat is really dumb though so I didn't wear it. (It looks like a old man sleeping night-cap). Dress is adorable. Wore it with black minnetonka boots and got a lot of compliments!

Unfortunately it had elastic on the waist which makes it more of a "one size fits some" costume. Wish they had it in the X-Large - I would have bought that instead. The strings on the cape came off immediately.... had to find some ribbon and sew it on. A friend of mine is going to remove the elastic and resew the bottom to the top so that will cost me a little more money. It's a cute outfit though, and it's nice to have something out there that is not one of those sexy and revealing costumes for once.

I like it but the sleeves are too short and the elastic in the waist sits on me weird, way too high. It would be better if there was no elastic on the waist and just let the belt (I would use a different belt) do the work of creating shape. I do really like the shawl, it adds a lot. The hat fits snug and is like a sleeping cap but that makes it comfortable too. I am using this for running, I usually where a Medium, I bought a large and I'm glad I did, sleeves are still too short.

I bought this dress for holiday-themed 10K runs and have been very pleased with the quality and design. It's not cut low in the front or short in length, so you can bend, stretch, and move in it without having to worry about exposure. Perfect for women of all ages who want to look cute but aren't after the sexy version of this costume. Material is substantial without being too heavy. After numerous washings, it's still holding up like new without shrinking, fading, or coming apart.I am 5 ft 2, and usually wear a size 6 petite. The dress fit great and I think it would accommodate up to a size 10. The material is stretchy and has some give, and there is an elastic waistband that is covered by the belt. The belt is a little long, but I tucked it in. Belt is felt and a bit flimsy, but as another reviewer pointed out, that helps it lay flat. A word of caution - my arms are very short and this fit just right, but if you aren't petite you may not find them long enough. Add a pair of black or white gloves and then it will look fine. The cape is detachable so you can leave it off to create additional looks.Never expected to get this quality for such a low price. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend was looking forward to this outfit. Unfortunately when she opened the item, she immediately noticed that it was dusty like it has been sitting around in dust for a while before it was packed into the plastic bag. The dust makes the dress look dirty in certain patches especially the middle/waist part of the dress.Besides being dusty, she tried it on and realized that the dress was two different shades of red: red and faded red. One panel of the dress was faded red like it was sitting in the sun or fabrics from different cuts were sewed together. Also the top part is loose and baggy like a sack so that’s where the top part that you tie on covers it. The top of the dress also seems like it’s unfinished.There’s also a vertical line that goes through the middle bottom part of the dress on the “front” and the “back”. You don’t see that in the picture and it looks a bit odd.At this point, the dust was making her nose run and she was feeling grossed out so she didn’t put the belt, the top cover or the hat on. This was a disappointment for her as she was looking to wear it for a work Christmas party.

Good quality fits well Is very forgiving. The of my thing is the arms are short.

Don't bother using the belt that comes with it - use another one. Dress fits nicely except the elastic waist sits quite high. Stretchy material accommodates different sizes nicely. Very cute and comfortable.

The dress fir great and arrived before the expected delivery date. The hat is a little small, but I didn't plan on using it anyway. Besides the hat everything was perfect. The cape might be a little small for someone who has broad shoulders.
