4 x Pro Res Care Liquid Water Resin Softener Cleaner Cleaning Solution 4 x 1 qt. = 1 gal

Our well water is horrible -- nasty iron flavor and pumpkin-colored -- I don't exaggerate at all. We have an elaborate Culligan water treatment system to make the water usable. The softener unit requires Res-Care as well as salt. It works.

I could buy this from Culligan at twice the price.

I purchased this product because I determined that my water softener was the cause of low pressure/low flow for the water in my house. I used it according the the instructions on the package. I have regenerated the water softener at least 10 times with the product in the brine tank. I have not seen any noticeable improvement in the water flow and pressure, so I continue to bypass the softener on a regular basis. I asked the people from Healthy Bowls, (who I purchased from) about a refund. They are willing to process a refund, but say there will be a 20% restocking fee. The restocking fee and paying the return shipping, is just not worth the hassle to get a few dollars back on a refund.Marsha at Healthy Bowls was helpful and forwarded my email to Pro Products/Summit Brands. I got a message left on my voice mail by a Nancy Thompson that stated this product does not remedy a low pressure/low flow situation. If you read the product description on the amazon.com webpage, it specifically mentions that it work for that issue. I asked Ms. Thompson to call me back, but as yet, she has not.I would not buy this or any other product from the Pro Res family based on this experience with them.I have included my email communication below if you want to read it.Thank you for forwarding my message to the Pro Res folks. A lady called me yesterday while I was at lunch and left me a message stating that the product is not designed to remedy a low flow or low pressure situation. I called her back, but was unable to speak to her. I left a message and she has yet to call me back. I find it interesting that she tells me the Pro Res resin care does not remedy my problem when the description on the product listing says that it will.Quoting from the product description on the amazon.com site: Iron fouling can cause channeling, pressure drop, loss of capacity, hardness and iron leakage. Regular use of Pro-Res Care will minimize fouling and extend the resin life in the water softener......Features and Benefits Prevents iron and mineral build-up on integral parts of the softener. Removes iron and aluminum fouling that causes lost capacity and a decrease in performance.It seems to me that I will not be getting any further follow up from Nancy Thompson @ Summit Brands/Pro Products, and that I am now being ignored.I appreciate your efforts to help me with the situation and forwarding my issue on. Working just fine

I use it with my Culligan water softner. Culligan charges 3 times the price through them.

I tried to cancel my order because husband ordered by mistake. Would not let me. When I got them 2 of them were leaking. Never again. Also extremely expensive for what you get
