Dragon Ball Z - Son Goku -A Saiyan Raised On Earth- S.H.Figuarts Action Figure

May not be the best Goku Figure anymore but it's still really bad ass... still love this figure. Despite it being the 2.0 and considered outdated in 2026 the appearance of this Goke Figure embodies the DBZ nostalgia for me.

This figure was given as a birthday present from my little brother, and it came in great condition. Every time I buy from SH figuarts it comes in great condition and they give you a lot of accessories like faces and hands. The articulation is very good and the details on the figure are incredible. If you are a Dragon Ball Z fan I would definitely recommend this figure To anyone.

“I have a family of my own I need to tend to. Two boys and a wife. An extremely angry wife who probably wants to kill me right now.” This Goku is probably one of if not the best Goku figures to own. The color of his Gi is my personal favorite on this one. Not to mention the faces are fantastic. This Goku has been the base of practically every Goku figure to come out. (Apart from the overpriced SSJ4 Goku) In terms of a base Goku? This is the one you want. Even with the new Base Goku coming out promoting the new Movie “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” The faces are so much better on this release. The promo pictures for the new Goku faces look, odd… (Especially the yelling one. The nervous face is pretty good though.) So if you want an optimal Base Form Goku or you just want a decently prices Goku figure, get this one! You will not regret it. It especially goes well with the Goku dinner table set that released a while back. This is one of the best Goku figures from the S.H. Figuarts line. And best part? It’s not overly expensive and it’s NOT Premium Bandai. (Note: This Goku does not come with open palm hands nor a closed eyes face. I just used the Tenacious Martial Artist Accessories on this Goku to show how interchangeable it is. I haven’t tested if this head will fit the Tenacious Martial Artist body. But it probably does. For a perfect base Goku, I recommend getting this Goku, the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Goku, the Goku Dinner Table set, the D.F. Sun Guko accessory pack with the windswept hair and the Power Pole, and maybe the 1.0 Goku [Or just a bootleg of the 1.0 just for the faces] ) Anyways, that’s my review. Although do wanna say that this figure is worth $34.99, not the $44.99 that it’s asking for currently🤨 Nonetheless, I’d still recommend this figure, even with the mark up.

Spot-on sculpt and paint job. Goku looks like he is taken straight out of a Dragon Ball Z game. Durability is pretty great for what this is supposed to be. I personally still recommend being careful with this figure. I don't advise giving it to a younger kid (under 8) because it is explicitly marketed as an older kids' or adult collectible, not a kiddie toy. Most SH Figuarts packs cost $50+, so I think $35 ($25 in Japan) is a major steal for this. Especially considering this was just the character model with swappable hand gestures and facial expressions without any fancy accessories. In summary, I recommend this Goku to any especially new fan of the Dragon Ball Z franchise or any anime in general. This also has good poseability and articulation, which is great for hobbies like stop-motion animation and toy photography. My only complaints are that this is a redundant purchase for any seasoned Dragon Ball collector, because there are many forms of Goku seen throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, and this Goku is just his original, classic, regular form. So for them, I think getting their hands on an action figure form of their favorite Goku transformation is their cup of tea. Most new fans won't know Goku's powered-up forms as well, so base Goku is their best bet. This is from a man who only got into Dragon Ball relatively recently.

My figure came with a faulty left hip socket ( I'm not 100 percent what these points of articulation are called ). The leg ended up breaking off as the socket split in two. I believe I was able to fix this with glue, and the leg is back on but now I'm afraid it'll break again if I'm not extremely careful with the item. I've ordered a replacement but now I'm a bit weary of the item. I have purchased this item before in person at a Target. I have had zero issues with that item. Update: second figure arrived. Right leg popped off immediately. I am taking these out of the box and just moving the arms and legs around, that's all. First picture is of the first figure with the socket cracking in two. I added super glue and put the leg back in. It appears to be fixed but you see part of the gap where the socket broke. Second picture is of the second figure. There was no break here. The leg just popped out the joint. Both boxes came with what appeared to be regular tape. I'm fairly certain that when I purchased my first SH figurarts figure in person, there was a circular seal instead. Someone on here please correct me if that's not accurate. It's a really good figure, I'm just not sure I got a "new" box with both of these purchases. I will keep both figures in case one breaks, I can use th second for parts. It's just not ideal that I'm having to pay for two to have peace of mind. Last update: I'm adding more stars. I just received a legitimate SH figurarts figure and the tape on the box isn't a seal. It looked just like the tape that's been on these Gokus. It appears the only real issue I've had here was with the first figure and the leg swivel socket breaking. I received a replacement which looks to be working well, the leg popping out of the socket was easily correct by popping back in. No issues since.

It did not disappoint. This SH Figuart was a good buy for me. A lot of possibilities.

Ich habe diese Figur zweimal für andere Personen gekauft. Sie sind vollends zufrieden. Zusammen mit Gesichtern und Händen war die Figur in einem Karton schön eingepackt und kam auch unbeschadet an. Auch das Bewegen und Umstellen war völlig in Ordnung, nur übers Umtauschen kann ich bisher nichts sagen, weil die Figur so blieb, wie sie auch auf dem Bild zu sehen ist - also die übliche Standartpose. Für Freude beim Besitzer und Neid der anderen wurde aber gut gesorgt. Auch ich finde diese Figur sieht große Klasse aus und ich werde sie in Zukunft für mich selbst kaufen. Von daher auch für mich die wohl tollste Son Goku Figur. *Daumen hoch* Somit kann ich mit bestem Gewissen sagen, dass diese Figur einfach ein MUSS ist für alle Dragonball Fans.
