Okay. So this just came today, and I installed it in about 30 minutes while watching the 9to5mac upgrade video and being extra careful. Everything was honestly very straight-forward and fairly easy for anyone who is comfortable with tools in their hand. The screws are, of course, small, and can take a steady hand. I highly recommend a magnetic driver for this. Also, I haven't read this anywhere yet, but I noticed that there was blue Loctite on almost every screw I removed, so I added a drop to each one of those screws before replacing. This may not be necessary, but Loctite is cheap, so why risk it? Blue Loctite is made hold things in place, yet still be removable. Once you remove a screw however, it should always be re-applied. Just because you can still see it on the screw, doesn't mean it's still going to hold. It's also very useful on anything else you may assemble that vibrates, moves, or bears weight. Basically any screw that you think has a chance of backing out over time. I personally don't want one of those tiny screws on my expensive Mac falling out internally and damaging/destroying electronics, so I'm surprised this isn't suggested ion any of the upgrade videos/articles I've looked at. I struggled the most with plugging the antenna cable back in (fingers too big?), but got it to go after a handful of attempts. Highly recommended. This RAM was accepted instantly by my Mini and has made this thing blazing-fast. In summary, for about 30 minutes of your time and $130, you get $600 worth of factory speed on your new computer. If your clumsy, rich, or both - just pay Apple when you build your Mac. If you have a basic ability with tools, and a steady hand - this is a no-brainer. I'll definitely update this review if I see any problems with my computer going forward, but as of now, 5 stars.

Super easy to install

I never have any issues with standard Crucial RAM, and it's my go to choice when upgrading a laptop or advising clients who are upgrading their systems. No frills or RGB lights, just consistent performance and reliability at a decent price. Given that RAM is one of the most important components to consider when building or upgrading a system, I steer clear of less expensive options from other companies. Crucial is a consumer / SMB brand of the company Micron, the world leader in memory manufacturing.

This expansion really speeds up the workflow and helps a lot with the video Editing and it is compatible with the iMac that I purchased.

Bought this kit to upgrade the RAM in my new XPS 15. Installation was a piece of cake and the new RAM was recognized instantly by my laptop. I've had no issues with system stability. I highly recommend picking these up if you want to upgrade your laptop RAM, a must have for content creators or those of you whose workflow demands lots of programs or browser tabs open at the same time. Overall a great value/quality and much cheaper than getting the RAM through your laptop manufacturer.

I put these sticks of RAM in my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop DKxxx2 and it helped it out ALOT!!! I couldn’t play COD before because my 8GB factory RAM couldn’t keep up. Can’t beat this upgrade for the price.

UPDATE: Replacement RAM arrived. Installed and worked exactly as expected. Original review is below. Purchased 2 each 16BG sticks to replace original 2 each 8GB sticks, for Alienware M17 laptop. Same timings, same speed. The only difference was the total amount of RAM. Unfortunately one NEW stick was bad. STEPS to troubleshoot problem: 1. Removed two original sticks, install new sticks, RESULT: No post. 2. Reset new sticks, RESULT: No post. 3. Install one new stick. RESULT: Posted normally. 4. Remove new working stick, replaced with other new stick, RESULT: No post. 5. Reinstall new working stick, RESULT: Posted normally. 6. Use 5x magnifying glass to look for any visual damage on bad new stick, RESULT: No damage. 7. Reinstall old sticks, RESULT: posted normally. 8. Repeat STEPS 1 through 6 again with same results. NOTE: same bad new stick observed. Time to return new RAM sticks for replacement. I have purchased same brand several times before without any issues. It looks like I finally got a bad stick. I have 38 years of pc experience.

2 things: Great product and great customer service. Opening the up and installing them in my laptop was a breeze, and I ended up ordering the day before a pretty good sale, so they allowed me to later return the original for a refund with no hassle. However, Crucial might have missed quite a few sales because their website doesn't show the 1660ti 2019 Predator as compatible (and everyone with a predator upgrades their stuff because they are made to be easily modded). Officially, for some reason Acer listed a max of 2333 MHz, but the 2019 Acer Predator US version can use this at the full 2666 (I checked and that's what windows shows it is operating at). It feels pretty awesome to have a metric ton of things open and check to realize you still have over 20 gigs of ram left. If you've got a laptop and it says it is capped lower then you might want to check forums, bc this may very well be perfect for you but not show your model as compatible. If you've got the predator I mentioned earlier: GET THIS ONE RIGHT HERE! I agonized over what to pick, and here we are over 2 months later and I know for sure I made the right choice.

I upgraded my iMac 2019 now and it's work smoothly and it's look faster. Thank you so much for your cooperation.

Fujitsu Lifebook E fit gemacht. Mit SSd und Erweiterung des Arbeitsspeichers ging dies recht einfach. Der Arbeitsspeicher bringt mehr Speicher insbesondere für Firefox und hat auch einen schnelleren internen Takt (Verbesserung von 2333 auf 2.600 MHz) . Dadurch Reduzierung der Systembelastung, der Lüfter springt nicht mehr so häufig an. Lieferung ging schnell, Einbau recht einfach, wurde sofort vom Betriebssystem sauber erkannt. Preislich in Ordnung, anderen verlangten 150-160 EURO.

I was a bit hesitant to do this myself but when I saw the price that Apple is asking for a RAM upgrade... All of a sudden I found motivation! Took me 30 minutes to install. I was relieved to see my Mac Mini boot and detect the RAM. I ran the official diagnostics and it's all good. So 15 minutes after the procedure I find myself typing this, no issue so far and I hope it will stay that way for the next five years. Quick note for the DIYers wanting to upgrade the RAM on the Mini 2018: read the iFixit guide, watch the videos, work in good light, wash your hands and grab a good tool kit, I was using the iFixit toolkit that's available on Amazon, excellent. The hardest part was to detach/reattach the PS connector, and to reattach the antenna connector. No big deal though, breathe and take your time ;-)

Kit perfetto per fare l'upgrade della ram a un prezzo irrisorio rispetto a Apple. facile da montare, riconosciuta immediatamente, fatti tutti i test di stress della ram i risultati sono eccellenti. non mischiate le ram con quelle orinali per avere 40 gb e far lavorare male la ram, se avete bisogno di piu' memoria comprate un altro kit da 2x16 . ma 32 gb di ram sono tanti .

Tengo un portátil ASUS que llevaba de fábrica 16 Gb. Como ya lleva algunos años, he querido seguir aprovechando el portátil y de ahí la compra de este kit de memoria de 32 Gb. Se nota bastante a la hora de mantener varas aplicaciones abierta que necesitan bastante para moverlas. Soy técnico en construcción y utilizo programas que son ya "pesados" de por sí y encima son muy exigentes con las memora RAM. El kit lo compré en reacondiconado a un buen precio y viene muy bien embalado. El montaje no puede ser más sencillo: ante todo, quitar la posible electricidad estática que tengamos tocando una parte cualquiera metálica de nuestro alrededor; posteriormente para desmontar la antigua memoria, hay que liberar las presillas laterales del banco de memoria para sacar los antiguos módulos de memoria y encarjar los nuevos perfectamente. El ordenador ha reconocido perfectamente la memoria y ahora va también más ráipido.
