I have been very grateful I found this product. I have naturally medium brown hair with lots of grey that I have stopped coloring. I have a very abrupt transition point with the grow out that is all in the most noticeable areas at the hairline and around my face. This syle edit root touch up tool is helping me hide/blend that transition better until I fully grow out the hair dye. It is not cheap but it does work well. It is easy to apply precisely, there is a blending tool at the other end of the stick that also works well. It moves/rubs off less than the Madison reed powder. Warning about the color- the medium brown is a warm brown, so if you have ash medium brown you might prefer the dark brown color because it is a more neutral tone. you will probably have to bite the bullet and buy one of each to experiment.

I first bought the wrong color, dark brown for my dark red hair. I returned it and bought the medium and works beautifully! Covers like it is describes, easy to apply. My grays are pretty noticeable, but this pencil is wonderful, I fully recommend it!

I got this root touch‑up stick to help cover the white hairs in the front, and it works exactly the way I hoped. I mainly use it when I’m heading to a party or event and want a quick, clean look without committing to permanent color. It does an amazing job blending in and making the front look freshly colored. It usually washes out with my next shampoo, but that’s perfectly fine since I only need it for temporary touch‑ups. For what it’s meant to do, it performs really well and has become a handy part of my routine before going out.

I was stuck rescheduling my color appointment for a whole month later than my usual time so my grey’s and white hairs were really visible and bad on my espresso brown hair. I was in a pinch so I decided to try this to get me through until my appointment. I wasn’t expecting much after trying drug store products like this but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it matched my color and how easy it was to apply. You can isolate the hairs you want to cover and blend much easier than a powder or spray. It stayed on and did not transfer or smudge and it was still doing its thing great the next day after sleeping with it on and between washes. It’s definitely something to have on hand and it’s small so it’s easy to toss in your purse or makeup bag for travel and touch ups. I highly recommend this and will buy again for sure

One of the best and easiest hair touch up products I have ever used! The stick allows you yo color in your roots and the opposite end has a sponge to evenly coat it. My hair girl has suggested I only use Style Edit products for my hair color touch ups in between appointments. Now I see why. Love it!

I love this Root Cover-Up stick! It is amazing. I have been using Style Edit root concealer for years now. I originally began with the spray (which I still use), but then say this stick and decided to try it. I love it. I have ordered the stick covers precisely what you want. The one end colors it end, and the brush end blends it. I am obsessed with the lasting coverage and how it matches my hair color. I hope this product and all of style edit products say around forever. I would be lost without it. Other products I have tried, don't work as well and don't look natural, the texture is all wrong.
