Matrigen Reverse Volume Collagen Face Mask – Korean Skincare Peel Off Face Mask Gel - SS Collagen Face Peel Mask - 2.11 Fl Oz was a disappointment for me at first when it comes to Korean skincare and I think its due to unclear product use in the description. The use appears to be for "face" and y'all at over 50 bucks it would take this whole tube to actually have enough product on your whole face to peel off. It's tacky and thick and very similer in texture to the old school Avon "lemon peel" in many ways. I knew when I first attempted to use it on my "face" there was no way that a full face mask could be correct. So I looked up the product description and it said for wrinkles, collagen, tightening skin....and so on. BUT It didn't work as a full face mask because it's too thick and tacky to apply enough to get a "peel" off mask without using all of it in one pop. So, I went back to the product benefits and see two words. Its intended for "dark circles" I was so confused. But there is only one place on my "face" that I battle dark circles and that is under my eyes. So for the next two weeks, every other night I applied this product under my eye area. It went on that specific area perfectly, smoothly and thick enough to actually peel off correctly and much better than when I tried to stretch too little product all over my entire face. It's getting 4 stars because WOW it helped my dark circles and did firm and tighten the area under my eyes well!! It did reduce the appearance of wrinkles under and around the corners of my eyes and the tube is definitely sized more for that use and not a full face. I would have given this 5 stars if it had been clearly marked as an eye mask for dark circles and skin tightening, wrinkle reducer for a specific area instead of the confusing and contradicting uses for dark circles on "face" Now, if the intended use is actually a face mask for dark circles on your entire face--I wouldn't give it one star for 50 bucks as a full face mask.

DEFECTIVE BATCH DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! I’ve bought and used this mask religiously. It used to be amazing and dried and peeled off perfectly leaving your face smooth and glowing. I rebought it last month and the formula is now defective. It is not a peel off mask anymore. It stays goopy like glue and never dries or becomes peelable. You have to wipe and wash it off defeating the purpose. It’s awful! I’m now out of the country and have no way to return it! What a waste of money! I couldn’t be more upset! This used to be a staple. Do not risk flushing your $$ down the toilet like I did!!!

My face is in love! I noticed visible improvement after just one use — my skin looks more radiant, firmer, and refreshed. It gives a beautiful glow and a noticeable boost in elasticity. And the removal process itself is pure relaxation. Highly recommend!

I’ve gotten this mask before and loved it but this time the consistency is different. It doesn’t peel off..it stays sticky and doesn’t have the same good effects as my past order. I’m not sure if the changed it or if I just got a bad batch

So, the biggest flaw that I noticed is the lack of instruction that comes with the actual mask. There is a picture on the page that shows the steps and it's much better used that way. Steps for the mask are: 1. Wash face, apply toner. 2. Apply mask and wait for it to turn into a "membrane". Around 30-40 minutes. Note: You'll want to spread it pretty evenly and not too thick. A silicone brush helps. 3. Peel of, starting at the edges. Step 4 lets you know that you can apply makeup after and recommends not washing it off at night. I found it difficult to spread evenly without a silicone brush, once I found mine, it helped a lot. As long as it's fairly even and there isn't a thicker layer, it should work as intended. Mine was good right around 30 minutes. It dries clear and feels slightly bouncy, but shouldn't feel tacky. I was able to peel it all in one piece. I did find this to be hydrating and was able to see a small (temporary, of course) reduction in fine lines. I did end up washing my face after, since to me, it felt like it left a bit of a film. Otherwise, I'm fairly pleased with it. I do think better instructions should be put in or on the package though.

This product is impressive. It is hydrating, and oddly fun to peel off. Order this, your skin will thank you.
