I've always loved Sweet Tarts, but I'm not a huge fan of rope candies. I like them fine, I suppose, but they aren't my go-to. I really wanted to try these Sweet Tart ropes to see if they'd improve on rope candies, at least for me.First of all, there are a lot of individual packs in this set. Each pack has more than enough for a serving. I'd say these are more than "snack size" but less than maybe a full pack. Giving these to friends and family would be a nice treat, especially during Valentine's Day. These with a card would be a great gift for most everyone.They are a filled, tube-like rope. The outside is smooth and has a delicious fruit punch flavor. The inside is a bit creamy, though a thick filing-not thin. The filing, to me, has the Sweet Tart flavor. I like to split them open in my mouth and pull out the filling before eating the rope. The outside, rope part, has a better texture and flavor than other rope candies, which I really like.Another thing I noticed is that at least some, if not most/all, of the coloring is from natural products. That is refreshing. It would explain why the red in the candy didn't bother me as many artificial reds do.Overall, I do love these Sweet Tart Ropes even though I'm not a fan of other rope candies. If I had to find one complaint, it would be that the bags are not resealable. While I'm sure most will devour all the candy in one sitting, some may want to space them out as there are quite a few. Other than that these are great.

These candy ropes have a great chewy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The real flavor comes from the tangy punch filling, which adds a nice burst of tartness. The outer layer is tasty but milder in comparison. They’re fun to eat and perfect for Valentine’s Day gifting or sharing. If you love soft and chewy treats with a bit of zing, these are a great choice!

I snagged these on a whim because I eat way too much sugar and I like fruity/tangy flavors. My initial reaction was that these tasted weird and waxy--they had been sitting in a truck all day and then on my doorstep in freezing temperatures but I couldn't wait to try them. However, it turns out that when they're actually at normal room temperature, they're delicious. Tangy sugary goodness in rope form with a tangy fruity outside and a sweet sugary inside. Soft and chewy. I'm about to need more...

They'd make great gifts, but I ate them all. They're the perfect firmness/chewiness and not hard. I love the sweettart taste and I'm glad they're still making new great tasting products and haven't fallen off like some other candies from my childhood.

There really isn't much taste to the straws themselves... I tried licking just the exterior but got nothing from it. All flavor is in the stuff in the middle. Kind of seems a waste, but there's plenty of flavor in the center to make up for it.These aren't terribly sticky and for the most part didn't leave bits in my teeth like some chewy candies. If there's a loose filling or tooth, or braces, you might want to be a little cautious but will probably be fine.

These candy ropes were very soft and chewy. It has just the right amount of hardness, not too soft like a gummy but also not too tough to bite. I could bite right through them easily and the center of the rope is creamy and sugary. The ropes are covered with a fun twisty rainbow color design that kids would probably like. I didn't taste any particular flavor but it was very sweet. My package had an expiration date of November 2025 (about 11 months from my order date) but not the individual sweet tart rope package.

These are a great sugary and tart snack. Definitely not healthy, but very delicious nonetheless. The ropes are chewy with a soft tart center. Definitely has that "sweet tart" flavor to it. These appear to be the same as the regular rainbow punch flavor version of these, but with a different packaging specifically themed for Valentines day. You get a lot for the current price of $15 so I think this is a good value.
