Makes perfect burgers!
This thing is great for making burgers of all different thicknesses or all exactly the same. I wouldn't really want to have to re-adjust the thickness 25 times for a bunch of burger snobs at a giant neighborhood BBQ - but I COULD with this unit. But set it to the perfect thickness for yourself and make thousands of perfect burgers for the rest of your life, because I think this thing will last that long. It's metal and simple and well-made. You can make a pile of burgers and take it all apart to wash it thoroughly. But here's what I would recommend... use cellophane or cheapo sandwich baggies. Grab a scoop of burger, toss it in the wrap or bag and squish. Voilah! You have a pile of bagged burgers ready to put in a freezer bag and freeze. No washing needed. Then pull out 1 or 2 (or 13) at a time to thaw and cook but, duh, take the bag off first ;-)

Make 'Em Fat & People Will Know it's Not Your Average Burger!
Good product. Does the job well and makes for a very handsome looking, crisp-edged patty. What I have determined, for myself, is it makes sense when forming many display worthy patties -- as in maybe 10 or more for a party. Any less I will craft by hand. Meat proportions must be rather precise to avoid oozing from too much, or, voids from too little being introduced into the mold. Parchment, wax paper or plastic sheeting must be on the press plates, under and on top of meat before operating to avoid contaminating the press, which then requires disassembly.

Perfect Patties Every Time!
I've used this burger press multiple times since purchasing it, and it continues to impress me with how easy and consistent it is to use. The adjustable feature makes it simple to create patties from 1/4 lb to 3/4 lb, depending on how thick you like them. The non-stick surface helps the meat release cleanly, and the textured press gives the patties a nice grill-ready pattern. It's built solidly and feels very durable in the hand. I appreciate that the handle gives you great leverage without much effort. Clean-up is quick—just a quick rinse or hand wash and you're good to go (though I still avoid putting it in the dishwasher to keep it in top shape).I've used it with beef, turkey, and even plant-based meats, and it works great across the board. If you love making your own burgers and want consistent size and shape every time, this is a must-have tool.Highly recommended!

Would buy this one again. Would recommend this one to family
I bought this hamburger Patty Maker after I had purchased a different one that did not work worth a darn. This one works the Press plate is thick and adequate for pressing hamburger patties the only thing that I would say is a negative is it only comes with the Press no papers or anything but those are easy enough to purchase and easy enough to make as well.

A major time saver
I ordered this a few days ago to make hamburger paddies. When it arrived, I cleaned it and then tried it out. It was simple, easy to use and very fast.I processed about 2+ pounds in about 10-15 minutes. If I did it by hand, it would have taken a good 45 minutes and with no two paddies the same.

Please don't buy this cast piece of junk.
Cuisinart CABP-300 is not worth buying.I was surprised on how bad this was with the Cuisinart name on it. The metal is cheap cast white metal. The "wing nut" used to select the size is very rough casting. It looks and feels like it was made in someones back yard. The unit has to be totally taken apart to clean because the meat can easily get pressed behind the top place metal part of the press.Using the press is also hard and takes some getting used to to get the meat to fit so it will actually press a descent burger out of it. Seriously If you don't put the meat in just right the burger will not come out right. The thicker the burger the harder it is to get a good burger patty out of this cast piece of junk.

It would work better with a larger base or legs to keep it from flipping over backwards when opened
Works well like other similar products I own, but this unit is very top-heavy and tends to fall over backward when you try to open the lid even with meat inside. It really needs a larger base or suction attachment
