These are sturdy and work perfectly for straining dairy and water kefir grains. They are easy to clean, and the various sizes are really helpful based on the vessel you use to strain into. The mesh size works well and I would purchase them again.

I LOVE these nylon strainers! The first one I ever ordered was a few years ago and I didn't pay attention to the detail but it only holds about 1/4. cup HAHA! I still used it for my kefir, since you can't use metal anything or it will kill the beneficial microbes and bacteria in it. I ordered these for my sprouts and other delicate kitchen needs and they have held up nicely! I like that there are two sizes and are bigger than my original strainer, so now I have three sizes to work with! They are super easy to clean, too and you can't beat the price. Definitely a win!

The size is just right, the holes are ideal for straining without damaging the grains, and the plastic feels sturdy and good quality. I like that it’s lightweight and easy to clean, which makes the whole kefir-making process much easier. It doesn’t absorb odors and rinses clean quickly after each use. This strainer is a must-have if you make kefir at home. It’s practical, gentle on the grains, and very convenient. I would definitely buy it again and highly recommend it.

My mistake was assuming all the sizes were the same. the green version shown appears to be around 6 inches, while another smaller one looks closer to 3.5 inches. I based my decision on that and ordered the $7.99 white one, assuming it was the same size and just a different color. So I guess the mistake was mine “for assuming all colors had the same measurements.” The item itself is fine, but the sizing differences between colors were a little confusing . I wished I could return for the size I needed, but I need it immediately for my kefir , so now I have to order a second one, I didn’t plan to buy 2

Just jumped on the homemade kefir bandwagon and these strainers have been the perfect tool for that process. The large strainer fits perfectly on my 2 qt glass measuring cup. The small one is a bit too large to fit over wide mouth mason jars but it's still useful. Can't imagine trying tk make kefir without these. The quality is great and they are holding up extremely well.

Product is as advertised but arrived broken on one side. Not worth it to return but be aware that product was not well protected in shipping packaging so arrived damaged. Would prefer a partial refund as opposed to having to ship the product back. Other than that product is solid.

I’m very happy with this kefir strainer set. The two different sizes are very useful, especially when making different amounts of kefir at home. The plastic non-metal design is perfect for kefir grains since metal can sometimes damage them. The strainer works very well and separates the grains quickly without clogging. It’s also lightweight, easy to clean, and feels durable. I like that the mesh size is just right for filtering kefir smoothly. If you regularly make milk kefir at home, this set is a great and affordable tool to have. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a simple and reliable kefir strainer.

These fine plastic mesh strainers are proper and appropriate for filtering grains to make your next batch of kefir. The tiniest one fits standard mouth jars properly, the middle sized strainer is too large to fit wide mouth jars but fits canning jar funnels properly as well as large gallon size and larger jars and larger bowls properly. The largest funnel will not fit any jars but will fit large bowls properly. The two tabs opposite the handle on each of the funnels function well in keeping the funnels fairly securely attached to the rim of the jar, funnel, or bowl, making them easy to use without needing to hold the strainer by the handle while using them. This allows efficiently using one hand to pour contents into the strainer while allowing the other hand to use a rubber spatula os spoon to work product in the strainer. Having been making kefir for almost 40 years and now tinctures and extracts and concoctions as well, my experience counts and people respect my analysis of products. This is a good quality and practical set at a very fair price.
