It’s light weight, the cooling packs are gel packs and not overly heavy, but do the job and they freeze quickly. * tip - use something like a funnel or straw in the top of the port for easier/quicker filling. ** careful on the fill- I filled to minimum line for easier fit into the pockets. FYI- I’m 5’3”120 lbs and the vest was a little big, even at the smallest adjustable straps-so I crossed the straps on each side, which drew it tighter and up enough to fit. Helps in 100 degrees for about an hour.
