I bought this kite based on the great reviews and because it was both highly rated and affordable. It was going to be my toddler's first kite, and I was excited for the experience. I have to say, we had an amazing time flying it! At first, we had to run around a bit to get the kite airborne, but once we figured out the direction of the wind, it became much easier. Now, I won’t lie,once I got the kite up and started letting the string out, the wind picked up, and I started to feel like the string might not hold up against the force. The string is actually a fishing line, which is incredibly long and surprisingly durable. While I was a little nervous the whole time, it withstood the strong pull of the wind without any issues. The kite was tugging hard, and my toddler wasn’t able to hold it because of the strong pull. However, if you only let the string out a little, he was able to manage it just fine. Overall, it was a wonderful family experience, and we were lucky to have the perfect park, trees on the edges and a clear, open space in the middle to fly the kite. It made for the perfect setting, and we all had a blast! P.S. it was very easy to assemble. The instructions are on the other side of the picture inside the travel pouch for the kite.

Works amazing. Really good quality! Just as advertised. Highly recommend! Just don’t expect a 5 year old to be able to fly it by themselves. You will likely need to be the one starting it off then handing it off to them or even keep holding it behind them the whole time. But I think this is kites in general not a design flaw of this particular kite. My 5 year old niece still loved it so much. Cons: Tails rip easily so just be careful. Instructions aren’t great but you’ll figure it out. Wish the case was a bit longer because you need to fold it back super correctly to get it to fit back in the case every time. Not a dealbreaker for me though.

So fun... my 2 y.o wanted to hold it but once it got up he wasn't really interested. Lol it worked great and so easy to fly by the beach where it was fairly windy.

I picked this up for my kids and they loved it. The plane shape was really fun and it actually flew better than I expected. It was easy to put together, and once we got it up in the air, it stayed up pretty well, even with just a light breeze. The quality is solid, especially for the price. It’s held up through a few crashes and some rough handling by my youngest, and it’s still in good shape. Overall, it was a fun purchase and definitely worth it for the smiles and laughs it brought. Perfect for a simple day outside.

I purchased the dragon kite for my 5 year old grandson's birthday. The assembly was easy. It comes with a fabric storage case. The kite flies easy. It is a beautiful and fun kite. I would buy again.
