The vanity itself is sturdy and very stable. The lighted cabinets on the top give it an elegant look, and can be adjusted to nearly any color you like. The mirror is large and provides a good amount of light, which can be adjusted to suit your needs. Because it is set back tho, for me, I still use and additional mirror with magnification for closer viewing. It's been easy to keep clean, but I did purchase a silicone makeup mat which we custom fit to protect the top.
