As a newly postpartum, nursing mom, adding an iron supplement into my daily routine was really important. I usually read the comments/reviews before purchasing and this one did look promising. My ferritin levels were super low! My nails brittle , I was always tired and sleepy and my hair was falling out chunks! I ended up with liver and kidney issues( badly anemic) I bought these since the store tablets really are bad and don't speed up bringing your Iron levels up. I started three times a week then slowly started to take 4 times a week. I feel so much energy going into two months , my lab work came back all back to normal! My hair is falling less and I have been exercising and running again ! The taste I don't feel it at all! And they dont make me constipated either ( maybe because I take magnesium) this brand is great! Very happy with it

I started taking this iron supplement after my doctor told me my levels were low, and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my energy after a few weeks. I no longer feel as tired during the day. The pills are easy to swallow and don’t have a strong taste. I did experience some mild stomach discomfort at first, but taking it with food helped. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to and I’d recommend it if you need an iron boost.

Only been taking for a couple weeks, after labs came back & my levels were extremely low, however I had to write a review. I can definitely feel my symptoms improving & I'm impressed. No other supplements have ever worked & would have to get an infusion, due to my gastric bypass years ago. Im not cleared yet, as I go back for labs in a couple months to check, but low iron is something my body tells me, so I know the capsule is doing something good lol. Ill update after those results if they have not improved at all. My ONLY con is the taste! Its disgusting & not to be gross, tastes like blood, which does make sense, just the first iron supplement to taste like that to me. With that said, I think thats why its the only one that works for me. Its different. I recommend taking it with orange juice bc it completely masks it. I also take it 2 hours before or after eating to ensure the iron doesn't stick to the food in my stomach & pass through without absorption.

When my doctor told me to double up on my iron supplement of IRON BISGLYCINATE, (also known as Chealated iron), I did just that. I started taking two of my 25mg capsules by THORNE. Then I saw where NAKED had 65mg iron in just one capsule. So I gave Naked a try and within a few days I experienced loose black stool and was not a happy camper. I am now back to taking Thorne brand which worked better for me.
