Great product but lots of work to install it well.
The roll sat in our garage for months before I finally had the time this summer to do the excavation and installation. Very hard work to excavate, backfill with crushed gravel, and install, but worth the effort. Looks great, and so far has been holding up well to our three small dogs, two of which are terriers who loved to dig up the natural grass we had previously. Scoops up easily and the mess doesn't stick to the plastic blades of grass as much as I'd anticipated. I installed cedar boards around the perimeter flush with the ground and screwed the edges of the turf to those boards every 6-8" with stainless screws to ensure the dogs wouldn't get an edge up and start chewing on it. Pricing on this was great compared to any local sources. Delivery went well, but you have to have a strong body or two to get the 300+ pound roll moved to where you store it until you do the installation.Ten week report: Very happy with this turf. Still looks absolutely awesome. It has held up great to our dogs. No digging or chewing damage thus far. Our tool of choice for picking up mess is salad tongs. We have done absolutely nothing towards odor control and do have some days of a urine smell, but we're getting into our rainy season and will see if it abates before starting to try vinegar or other treatment. Blower gets the leaves off just fine. Wish we had installed this a few years earlier! One year report: Okay, I am now absolutely amazed by this product. We're one year in, and it has held up beyond my wildest expectations. Survived a crazy winter with over 20" of snow. Made it through the wet spring. I've run a blower on it many many times to clean off leaves & debris, and the dogs are on it constantly, yet it isn't shedding blades of grass at all. Very tough & durable. Completely loving it.

Unparalleled Quality Turf at a Great Price
I can't tell you in words how great this turf is. When I first started searching for turf to replace the pine straw mulch in my back yard I opened up my web browser and started researching, looking for the best quality turf I could find at a reasonable price. I never would have thought I would find it on Amazon. I bought the Premium turf, and the specs almost seemed to good to be true when I was comparing to the prices I found on several other websites. I took a chance, made my biggest purchase ever on Amazon, and crossed my fingers as I waited on the delivery truck. A week or so later the delivery truck came, and the minute I cut the wrapper open and felt it I knew it worked out. It looked better than I imagined. Side by side with my neighbor's artificial turf, the difference is night and day. This stuff is awesome. After rolling it out the pile was laid over from being packed on the roll. All the other turf I've seen laid over so I expected that, but I read in some questions on here that the infill wasn't going to be necessary due to the pile height and quality... I was nervous about it for a few minutes. But after about 30 minutes in the sun it all stood up. No need to infill with sand or rubber pellets like most turf, this looks perfect all by itself. The only issue I had with the while experience is that one of the two rolls I ordered came as the wrong size (12x50 roll was ordered, 15x25 was delivered). I had the seller's phone number from a previous inquiry about getting samples, and I called them up immediately before we dropped the roll off the truck. We talked it out, and they made it right by sending out a new roll immediately. I truely appreciate the way they handled this little mishap, and now after about 5 long days of demo, prep, and installation I have a backyard that could be featured in a magazine.A few tips for those purchasing:1) Lay out your design in CAD or on a paper plan. Measure twice, but once.2) Spend all the time you need on prep work. Skimping on the subgrade prep can show through on the final product. Get your area good and level and/or at smooth slope without low spots.3) Have lots of spare razor blades on hand. The premium grade I bought is extremely thick and difficult to cut. You'll go through several blades.

Looks great and easy maintenance
Used this artificial grass for a dog training area. It was easy to install with 2 people. It looks great and is easy to clean and gives some cushion for the dogs. I will probably install more and I actually wish I could do my entire backyard. Most important part is planning and leveling with a good drainage material underneath. We used granite millings/,screenings. Great value and quality and I definitely recommend. My only regret is not ordering more to begin with but I wanted to make sure it was how it was described and it is... I would also recommend getting a pair of rubber mat pullers that are made for moving horse stall mats. We had these on hand and it made it much easier to pull, move and straighten.

Feels great on feet! Excellent!
Amazing. Feels great on feet and looks great. Some hints/thoughts:-get this upgraded version. We accidentally ordered the other and it was no contest. MUCH better.-the biggest role is amazingly heavy. 8 guys and a diesel powered walk-behind front loader could barely get it to back yard-soft. no extra cushion needed. our kids play tackle football on it. all we have underneath is crushed granite-good vendor. we accidentally ordered one roll of lesser version (careful, amazon website is confusing) and he gave us a great deal on a reorder so that our extra cost was minimal.-our kids and dogs all LOVE it. they roll around and lay on grass every day. play a lot more b/c areas which were muddy or gross are inviting now. makes whole yard feel bigger.-IMO excellent value. we self-installed back yard for about $4k. Got some local manual labor help for a day (7 guys) for dirt moving. Closest local bid was for $13k and others were $20k.
