Benzodent Benzocaine Oral Numbing Cream, Gum Pain Relief for 12+, 0.25oz

Recently had dentures put in. Gum irritation is normal but when the dentist is closed , and I'm unable to get an adjustment, this stuff helped greatly. It's a thick cream that stays in place and acts as a numbing agent and good lubricant of sorts to help seat your dentures with less pain. The thickness is the key as gels squeeze out. Easy to use as I apply to my sore gum with a qtip, let in work for about 5 minutes, then apply some on the denture in the same spot. definitely effective, and helps ease the pain till I can get an appointment. Some will squeeze out but I leave it on the gum to help with denture movement. Didn't notice any bad or unpleasant taste. Definitely better than numbing agents or gels alone. Expensive but you don't need much and it's well worth it in times of need to help with discomfort

It's called a cream. It's really more like a paste. The best I can describe it is denser and stickier than the average toothpaste, but less dense than spackle. LOL But it will absolutely stay on your teeth/gums/dentures, the benzocaine really stops any pain, and it lasts. And that's what I bought it to do. 5 stars

I did several attempts to research the best product for my father who is aging and I have to say I am beyond in love with this product because I have noticed a significant difference and my father himself has stated that this project has helped him adjust to these changes. Bought for my sore spots from my dentures I definitely recommend does help with denture sores or sore gums.

In my opinion, this is more of a paste than a cream & it isn't the easiest to "rub in". That is the only thing negative that I am going to write about this product. I use this for a reason not listed. I have a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is nerve damage I developed after having a dental procedure (happens A LOT, be careful). It is horrendous pain that, in my case, affects my mouth. I have continual pain that feels as if there is a deep cut at my lower gum line & acid has been poured into it. That continual pain is also on the inside of my jaw. I will often use this on both places & it honestly helps me. It's a texture that takes a little getting use to but it stops the pain for a while. Better than anything else I have tried. So anyone who has Trigeminal Neuralgia, give this a try; God knows, we're trying everything we can think of to combat the pain.....might as well try this; you maybe surprised!

This is by far the most effective oral pain relievers. It is a basically a paste, so it stays put for a while. It is a bit tricky to work with, but definitely worth the effort.

I have dentures, and sometimes they hurt. I got this because it was recommended, but the gel is hard to deal with. It doesn’t stay where you put it. So I think that I would find something with a better applicator.
