I've developed carpal tunnel in my third trimester in both wrists, although it's worse in my right wrist. I was waking up with numbness and tingling in my arm and fingers, to the point that my hand was unusable for a good portion of the morning. My doctor recommended I get a wrist brace to wear at night and see if it would alleviate some of my symptoms.You need to make sure you get the right brace for the right arm. These are not reversable, so if you buy it for the wrong arm, it will not work. It's easy to slide your hand in, wrap the strap around your wrist, and press it into place. There is a small hard support that rests right under your wrist.I have found it difficult to properly hold a steering wheel or type on a computer while wearing it, so I do take it off when doing certain tasks where I need better range of movement in my wrists and hands.I am able to wear this overnight with no discomfort, and I have found some relief over the past half week when I wake up. The numbness is definitely a lot less noticeable when I wake up when I wear the brace. I feel like my wrist and hand is very secure when I am wearing it, and I am having some symptom relief.

These are more for true medical immobilization for people with true or advanced carpal tunnel. I just wanted them for some extra support while riding my motorcycle, but a wrist that is immobilized can't use a motorcycle. If you use a mouse and keyboard for work, this may work to keep you from moving your hand, but if you have carpal tunnel, you really should not be using a mouse and keyboard anymore. That's what caused it. These are more for pre- or post-surgery, that's why they are so expensive. They are actually worth more than the asking price because these are a real medical brace.

Best brace I've purchased, works fantastic. Love the strap design gets a nice tight fit and helps my hand to not be as numb. Others wear out and have less support. Rating it 4 cause I haven't had it very long and disappointed they don't see both hands together at a small discount for purchasing 2. Got only the right hand brace because that's my worst hand.

This is my 4th brace for use at night to help with my carpal tunnel. It's lightweight and provides awesome support at my wrist, while still allowing some movement of my fingers. It takes a little longer to apply, however, becasue I can't just slip it over my handle and tighten a strap like my last one. Instead, you actually have to undo the elastic strap, slip your hand in (making sure the internal fabric piece is on the correct side of your thumb), the carefully tug the elastic strap and wrap it around your wrist one full rotation. I think the downside to this is that it is easy to over-tighten the strap and actually cause some discomfort, so you have to be careful and apply it appropriately.Otherwise, I am very pleased with this brace and have slept very peacefully since I started using it.It does collect a lot of lint, though, on the velcro. I woke up with a bunch of bedsheet fuzz stuck to it from the very first night. If that bothers you, then you won't like this brace.

Lightweight, sleek (not bulky) and comfortable. I use this brace nightly to help with my tennis elbow. I know, I know. A wrist brace for tennis elbow?! Believe it or not, it's been the thing thst has helped me the most. Something about stabilizing the wrist helps. I saw it suggested on a few Reddit boards and decided to give it a try.I like this brace because it's not bulky. It's lightweight and sleek. I also like that it only has one strap to deal with.

I have both a small wrist and a small hand (I bought the extra small). This is the only brace I have found that would completely immobilize my wrist. Every other brace I've tried has either been too big around my wrist or on my hand. It's easy to put on and comfortable to wear all day. For anyone having problems with the universal sizes being too big I highly recommend this (it even fit better than the brace that Urgent Care offered me).

Since I started using this brace, I wake up without pain. It’s comfortable to wear overnight, supportive without being bulky, and really makes a difference. A simple, effective solution I’m grateful to have found!

I've gone through a lot of wrist braces, I've been skateboarding for over 20 years and my wrist bones are dust at this point, but this brace is the perfect balance of immobilization and comfort. It doesn't have abrasive stitches on the inside. Outer plate is poly, but the inner plate is aluminum. Not good if you've broken a metacarpal, for that go see your favorite MD, but great for old sports injuries or a fresh sprain.
