Mixability: Mixes as it should - excellent taste. Was purchased to make malted milkshakes - have had this before - tastes great. If not used quickly, keep a desiccant in an open baggie within the container to absorb moisture, otherwise the powder will start to clump

I've loved malt since I was a little girl and could get handmade malts at the ice cream parlor. There is not much to choose from in the way of plain malt powder. I've tried them all, and this is my favorite. The quantity and quality for the cost are very good. It mixes well in drinks hot and cold, and it has that perfect old-fashioned flavor. It's usually on subscription for me.

The product is great. Makes the best malt. I wish the packaging was handled more carefully. The last 3 orders, there has been no extra padding or wrapping, just containers thrown into the box. This has caused multiple containers to have dents and leaks. This last order, one container completely burst open with malt powder everywhere.

This is the BEST malt powder I have ever used!

Being branded as "Soda Fountain Malted Milk Powder" and depicting a picture of children of the soda fountain era, the packaging gives the impression that this will be magic in a glass. When my wife said, let's make a malt, we searched and purchased this product first. After trying it, we both felt like the malt taste was a little weak (even with additional tablespoons of mix added). Then, we picked up some of the nationally known brand (the one with the red top and the company name of a flower). In a side by side comparison, we feel that the malt taste is stronger and richer in the other product. As for value, we paid $13 for 16 oz. of "Soda Fountain Malted Milk Powder", versus $4.50 for 13 oz. of the other brand. For the money paid, we feel this product is not as good a value as what we found at our local grocery store, nor as good. Everyone's taste is different, this is just our opinion.
