Game-Changer for Travel: Avantree Bluetooth Relay
I was a complete hit parade on a recent trip to South America—all thanks to my Avantree Bluetooth relay. How did this little device win over an entire tour group? Let me count the ways:1. Airplane Use:I had the aisle seat, and using my Bluetooth relay meant I could wear my own incredibly comfortable Bluetooth headset instead of the painful airline-supplied ones. Even better? When someone in my row needed to get up, I didn’t have to unplug or untangle a thing—just stood up, sat back down, and kept watching. Seamless.2. Quiet Boxes on Tours:Our tour guides used what they called "quiet boxes" (personal audio transmitters). Most people had to use the uncomfortable earpieces that came with them. Not me—I paired my preferred ear cuff to the quiet box using the Avantree relay. The real kicker? The relay supports dual pairing, so my husband could connect his earpiece to the same quiet box through my relay. Only one of us had to carry it!3. Shared Audio Streaming:On the plane, we used the same feature to watch movies together. Each of us with our own headset, both connected to the same screen via the Bluetooth relay. So convenient—and far more comfortable than fiddling with wires or splitting earbuds.Other travelers on our trip were so impressed they asked me to send them the link to buy one themselves. Safe to say, this device was not only a lifesaver but also a conversation starter!Highly recommend this for anyone who travels—even once a year. It’ll change the way you fly, tour, and share experiences!!

Great on a plane, great in a workout room
This might read as hyperbole, but this thing has kind of changed my life.I bought this to use on a recent trip to Belgium, and it worked like a charm. As the directions will make very clear, you really need to do some setup at home in terms of bettings this thing connected. And once you do, it works like a charm (pro-tip: make sure your phone, computer, or iPad is not competning with the bluetooth connectivity). But once you get it paired, simply turn on the device, get your headphones hot, and then plug it is. I had no issues on the plane and it was great to watch a movie on the seatback screen without the $0.50 headphones they give you.But when I got home, it hit me that I might be able to hook these into the A/V receiver (with a plug adapter) to watch TV while on the treadmill (I had a previous bluetooth adapter and I was so disappinted iwth it that I seldom tried to use it). Just as on the plane, this connects quickly, has NO lag, and allows me to walk or run (or use the erg) with my good workout earbuds.I have now unpaired these from my phone, for I am only going to use them with the device. In short, I have been very happy with this and strongly recommend it.

iPod classic bluetooth w/ Bose Revolve & Sonos speakers - easy, no latency, no skips, no static
Very seldom does "plug and play" work as seamlessly as promised . . . except this does!Using this to give an oldie but goodie iPod classic the ability to Bluetooth connect and play through a couple Bose Revolve and Sonos speakers.Seriously, this took less than 5 minutes to set up.Plug it into the iPod's headset jack, then plug it into an outlet. It came with about a 75% charge, but I wanted it to always be plugged into a power source since I plan on leaving it in place.Toggle the on button to on, then push the sync button on this transmitter and on the first speaker. Connected easily.Do the same with the second speaker. Connected just as easily. At this point, I paired the two Bose speakers with each other so they could play in either party or stereo mode. No matter which mode they're in, they play in sync with each other without lag, latency or static. So far, I've used this almost everyday since initial set up and there was never any issue with needing to re-pair or re-sync - - - all devices remembered each other (recognizing it as Avantree) and picked up just where they left off.It honestly took me more time dealing with the physical aspect of cord managing the charging cable (fishing the cable behind furniture so it's out of sight) than actual set up of the device.Comments:- note there is an actual on/off switch on the device. It's tiny and on the side of the transmitter, but that needs to be "on" in order to function. I don't know if it's necessary, but I also turn it off when I'm not using it just so it's not always actively sending out a signal.- happy surprise that there are also volume control buttons right along side the on/off switch. I don't need those in my situation, but if you're travelling or are using this as a portable transmitter, this is a handy bonus- it's amazingly teeny - - - about the size of a flash drive and smaller than an old school pack of gum- comes with a 2 prong headset jack, presumably for airplane use, but I think most airlines have gone to the single jack input as I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a double jack on a plane.- comes with a charging cable, but not a wall plug.- if you're taking this with you, it also comes with a compact case that everything fits into nicely
