This was exactly what I was looking for. Yes, it's pricey, but it's good-looking, well-made, and thoughtfully designed. And it's large enough to hold and hide all my junk (one surge protector and five plugs with excess electrical cord length) and keep my floor clear. No more hideous-looking, dust-bunny-collecting rat nest! Now it just looks like I have a stylish wastebasket. I love that there is a discreet little hole in the lid that you can poke cables through -- I use that for charging my phone, so I can lay my phone on top of the lid while it's charging. It's a joy to use such a well-designed product.

The bottom was shattered and the box had been reclosed.

I have a corner TV stand that my LED TV mounts on. I have a Blue Ray player, Cable Box, Nintendo Wii, PS3, Mac Mini, Apple Router, and Cable router. I love my stand, but it is completely open in the back, so you saw a mess of wires behind the it when you were sitting on the couches. I happened across this device while reading an article and saw that Amazon had it and thought I would give it a try.It comes with 6 3M "hooks" that you can use to mount a surge protector or a router to the side. The are not really hooks as they just have nubs on the end. Works great for mounts that have the hole that you insert the nub in, then slide it down to lock into place.Since the bin is round, I was concerned that with mounting my surge protector on the side (would it be to close to the side when I tried to plug in my large adapters), but it actually works quite well. If your surge protector is too wide, you might run into problems.Aside from that, nothing much to add here. I found it's better to plug everything in and then pull out the cables (from the side) to reach to your equipment. That's easier than plugging it in and then trying to stuff the excess in.I placed my wireless router on the top as there is a rubber gasket that can be pushed out to pull wires out from. On the videos I watched on this, they show a phone charger on the top to use when you are using this with a computer, but I think this thing is best stowed away and not sitting out where it is easy accessible.I gave it 4 stars just because of the price. Though the wood texture looks nice, this is just a plastic trash can with a top and I think it could easily be priced at half the cost.

These are great--really handsome, solid, and well-built. The tray on top with the pass-thru for cables is really nice for charging my phone and cordless headphones. The only drawback is the high price, but I think it's worth it for something that will make my home look nice and serve me well for decades.

I love this so much I bought 3 of them for my house. Their big and deep enough to hide a lot of cables and power bars, while keeping some level of organization. The style is great and blends into any background.

gorgeous design and pretty much do a decent job at hiding that unsightly cables.-1 star for the price.another -1 star for the flimsy plastic sticker hook that came with the order. it is completely useless and the hook fell off every time on its own. The sticker just won't stick to the inner lining of the bin.

It's not a perfect solution, but it is an improvement.Babyproofing our home is a real challenge given all the electronics charging we do. The CableBin looks much better in my living room than most other cable covers I've seen. And the lid provides a good place to rest items being charged at an easy-to-reach height. With the bin placed right in front of the outlet, there's little to attract little ones, BUT I'm afraid the wires emerging from the bin may still be a lure. CableDrops might keep them more secure.The squarish surge suppressor I use cannot be hung on the side of the bin because of its size, the bin's curved sides, and the direction of the slots. And it barely fits in the bottom of the bin; any larger and it wouldn't be usable. The result is a surge suppressor on the bottom of the bin, a tangle of wires above it, and difficulty in reaching the switch if I want to cut the power.And yes, it is very pricey for what it is. We considered simply cutting a slot on a covered trash can, but worried about sharp edges.

Perfect for what it does; hides cables neatly. For $40 i possibly could have made one for a little cheaper but i honestly have been looking for a product like this for awhile...good stuff!

Hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Wird ums Modem und Router und was sonst noch so in solchen Ecken rumliegt wieder ordentlich aus und läßt sich drumrum gut putzen. Sieht auch nicht billig aus.

Ho appena finito di installare il Cablebin con all'interno tutti i cavi, ciabatte e trasformatori che fino a poco fa davano un gran senso di disordine sotto il tavolo. Sicuramente fa quello che promette, ovvero ordine.I materiali sono molto buoni, avevo paura si trattasse di plasticaccia invece da un senso di qualità; è anche bello da vedersi.Unico difetto: è un pò caro, potrebbe costare meno.Per il servizio Amazon, tutto eccellente: il prodotto è arrivato addirittura con in giorno in anticipo rispetto a quanto indicato al momento dell'ordine.

Die Kabel und die hässliche Fritzbox sind aus dem Sichtfeld verschwunden, was will man mehr. Die Box / Bin selbst ist optisch ansprechend und sieht aus wie auf dem Foto.

Los cables recogidos y fuera del alcance de animales domésticos. Mi gata no paraba de roer los cables y ahora ya no llega a ellos.
