I have sensitive skin with a particular sensitivity to sunscreens so I’ve tried many sunscreens from drug store to high end. I can really only use mineral based and even some of them give me irritated skin. I’ve found very few sunscreens that I can use daily without any issues and even less that are an affordable price and don’t leave a white cast. This sunscreen ticks all my boxes! I absolutely love it! It’s comfortable to wear- the perfect balance of moisturizing but not greasy. It leaves a beautiful dewy finish and has just the right amount of tint to counteract white cast and even out my skin. It gives me absolutely zero irritation (even if I accidentally sleep with it on). And it’s an affordable price. I hope this is never discontinued or reformulated because it’s perfect.

The product is amazing so far! It's very light on the face and a subtle tinted coverage. Not too orange as most people would say so it's great on the face. Plus, the product as a lot of skin benefits. It's worth the try!

Nice product, covers better than most tinted sunscreens, but is a little heavier than I prefer for summer. It will be a great option in the winter. Cetaphil products are all well-made and never cause me any irritation. UPDATE: I saw other reviews saying this product was very orangey and I did not find it to be so at all. I am very fair complected and this blended in with my fair/pink undertone skin perfectly. My only concern was that it was a bit heavy for summer here in Texas but you can bet I'll be wearing the heck out of this in the fall and winter as it's a great product.

Adore this tinted sunscreen!! It is fungal acne safe, sheer, blends well, hydrating, and waterproof in the ocean. It’s all I wear as my makeup daily and no break outs. Love it! ☀️ 🌊

Used Josie Maran tinted moisturizer with SPF until it was discontinued. Tried this with no real expectation but I am pleasantly surprised. This may be better and can be used under makeup or alone. Not greasy and WORKS well!

This tinted screen is wonderful it goes on smooth doesn't irritate skin and is moisturizing. Also the tint is perfect it does not look orange at all and I am fair to light skin tone. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because pump on the tube doesn't work. The sunscreen will not come out at all. I had to finagle the top to get it off and remove the pump leaving the top of the tube open so I put the clear cover on it so the sunscreen wouldn't come out. Truly a big pain in the neck which would make me not purchase this again even though the product is excellent.

I really like this mineral sunscreen. It works really well on my face. I have fair skin that burns easily, so I use sunscreen daily. I have sensitive skin, that’s prone to breakouts and redness. I can only use mineral sunscreens as chemical ones irritate my skin. I have been using this Cetaphil Everyday Sunscreen Tinted Face Lotion, SPF 40 daily for a couple of weeks now and have had no breakouts and no redness. It’s nice that it’s ranked as Excellent on Yuka. This goes on a bit dark for my fair skin and has a dewey finish, so I will likely start mixing it with an untinted mineral sunscreen to lighten it a little bit and maybe make it a little more matte. However, using it straight from the tube my facial skin feels so good, and well hydrated. A new favorite for me for sure.

Thank you, Cetaphil, one thousand times over. I tend to get mild malassezia from just about anything I put on my face; makeup foundation, creams, serums, cleansers, sunscreens, you name it. My skin is nice and clear, as long as I avoid them. I am particularly sensitive to polysorbates, fatty acids, esters, etc. Within an hour of use, I have little pimple like hives on my face. I have no reaction whatsoever to Cetaphil Sun 40 Tinted. I even slept in it to test for reaction. I had none whatsoever. Then I went to Sezia.co. to check ingredients. No irritants found. It’s completely malassezia safe. I love the tint, it’s very neutral in color and melts into my skin color. I appreciate that it is not that ugly orangey tint, present in most other tinted sunscreens. I love the texture and that it is not oily, nor is it dry. I hope they never change its ingredients, as many do over time. This one is perfection in a tube.
