Not perfect but works well
I have the rollers rotary which is useless if you have an odd shape so I thought the claw would be awesome. The chuck is well made and solid with the exception of the little bit of play that is in that actual chuck piece. I have tightened all of the screws but there is still a bit of a bobble which is why I docked a star. The directions are useless and I had to search YT for a video. Here is what I figured out that should have been in the manual... There are multiple cords. If you have the Nano, you need the c connection cord and the longer y axis cord. The shorter white ended cord is for the Longer Ray lasers. If you plug the wrong cord in, it won't work. The little level is cool and very useful. There are 3 ways to hold your object. There is the single claw for larger items. The double claw is for smaller objects and if you're engraving jewelry like a ring, there are metal pegs for that. Once you get the wiring right and the right claw, then it works fine, other than the slight bobble. Luckily my design was a small area on a champagne glass. If the design had to go all the way around, you would definitely have a messed up design because of the bobble. So I won't be getting rid of my rollers which I'll use if my object is smooth and even.

Needs improvement
I'm not sure what was up with this. I've had great luck with Longer products. This completely wrecked the Y-axis of my Ray5 20W, and I had to replace the motherboard after using it a few times. Some Longer products need improvement in their documentation. They point to non-existent website pages, and this was one of them. I found what I needed in a different section of their website. It is well-made, but easily goes out of balance. This skewed the image that I was trying to engrave. The instructions could use some improvement. I sent it back.

Needs work
This is my fourth rotator and the best one yet the motor and chuck are high enough I can use it on handled mugs. But there are problems the elevation screws need an allen wrench to tighten or loosen. The auxiliary support is awkward.

Game changer for laser
If you don't have a chuck rotary then you are missing out. This thing has made doing cups and travel mugs so easy.

Completely elevated my engraving skills
I have had my Atomstack A20 Pro for a couple of years now and have been wanting to acquire a chuck style roller for some time. I was offered this Longer chuck roller as an option and when I saw that it included cables that would work with other brand laser engravers, I immediately jumped on it to give it a shot.Once I received it, I was very impressed with how well everything was packaged and labeled as well as the overall solid build quality. It came with a thorough instruction manual and most of the items were assembled. I put it all together and used one of the included cables to connect it to my Y axis on the Atomstack and completed the setup in Lightburn as per the instruction manual. I ran several tests and all worked well. I did note that I needed to switch on the mirrored output as my laser burned everything in a reverse for some reason but that is a simple fix inside the software.A couple of notes. The extended rollers that are included to increase the stability sits elevated and requires the included foam foot to keep it from leaning over but it is a bit too thick and I had to trim it with a blade otherwise it lifts the entire chuck on tilt. Also, the chuck itself is quite tall and even with the risers I had for my machine, I still was not tall enough to accommodate my items to test with the roller. I would have really appreciated some additional risers as I am sure others will run into the same issue. All that being said, I am very happy with this chuck roller and can say that anyone with a laser roller, be it a Longer or other brand will benefit from this tool upgrade for their machines.
