Very good buy love this rifle buy from Pyramyd Air only
Got this gun from pyramyd air and I suggest you alway go to them first for all your air gun needs I live in Georgia and Air gunning is not that popular in my area there are NO shops No lie there are Zero shops in Augusta GA. thats sale Pcp air rifles. The rifle came to me( Very well packed ) it was (shipped and delivered )very fast also. The rifle is dead on accurate I tested it up to about 70 yards very tight group 5 shots smaller group then a quarter and im not a expert shooter the rifle is very light weight give you a feeling of total shout control there is zero recoil i used a $40 scope (Winchester air rifle. Scope 4x32 kills squirrels no problem even got a raccoon with a head shot left him dead in his tracks also a guinea fowl head shot love this gun go get one

the gun is great on power and gives you around 15-20 good shots ...
The pump is built well and has given me zero issues, the gun is great on power and gives you around 15-20 good shots per charge. It also hits hard enough to take down small game. A scope is highly recommended but the gun can be picky about what scopes will work with its short mount without blocking the loading area. Loading can be tricky at first but I quickly got the hang of it. The synthetic plastic is tough and makes the gun rather light making it a good choice for long jaunts through the woods. Only complaint is that the barrel had a bit of wiggling to it till I tightened the set screw on the barrel clasp.

Tried ordering this 3 times...
And each time, the box arrived with the can of pellets opened and the pellets all over the inside of the product box, and leaking out into the shipping box. This resulted in scratches all over the rifle, and many deformed pellets. Twice, the pellets were not the Crosman Piranhas(as the ad and product box state), but were just regular Crosman Hollow points. Asked for a replacement twice, gave up and returned the 3rd one for refund.

Shoots and functions properly, has rusting issue?
Rifle itself is nice! iron sights came completely loose out of box and I haven't sighted in my scope properly so ill give an accuracy update, But the shipping was troublesome. Other than that I'm very pleased, everything functions and the box wasn't totally destroyed by the time I got it so that's a plus.Update: I have seen surface rust developing over all of the exposed action and barrel, and am concerned with that. Rifle still functions fine for now but will have to contact benjamin for a possible solution.

Poor packaging
Received the PCP air gun and hand pump in one big shipping box, but no void fill. The box of PCP cracked opened, the pellets were all over the place. Very disappointed on the poor packaging.

New PCP value king!
Finally, an affordable PCP rifle. I've wanted one for years, but could never quite justify the cost. This package made my resistance fade away and I'm completely tickled!Since it is limited to 2000psi, it's easy to pump up (go slowly or you'll overheat the pump and yourself) and easy to shoot. More accurate than ANY break-barrel pellet rifle I've ever owned, which makes it a lot of fun to shoot. I'm getting groups under 1/2" at 25 yards without a real benchrest, shooting with the barrel resting on a pillow on the roof of the car and I'm a bit old and shakey. The trigger could be better, but it is useable and this is a $200 rifle. Got to save money someplace and Benjamin put most of their build money into the breech and barrel, where it gives the biggest reward.Last, please ignore the review by the person giving this kit 1 star because it doesn't come in .177 caliber. It would be nice if people could confine themselves to reviewing things they actually have in their possession.

Missing a screw, but the gun is a great PCP starter!!
I got the kit in the .22. I have 2 Marauders and really like the little magazines they use, but I also like the simple, single shot bolt action with the Maximus. I have this same gun in .177 and both are incredibly accurate for the price. I have a Bushnell Banner on the .22 and a Nikon Buckmaster on the .177. The gun is very light compared to a wood stock. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to try out a PCP airgun. You can scope theses with better optics compared to break barrel air rifles, and you get much better accuracy. My FPS is very close to the break barrels as well. The pump works well and I use it for 2 Mauraders, 2 Maxumus', and me Beeman 1317. I just set the Beeman up today, and as of yet, it is not giving me the tight groups that my Maxumus' do. I do, however, feel like the Beeman is another great option if you're looking to get into PCP guns. If you end up liking the PCP stuff (I like it a LOT!), maybe Move up to a UK made AirArms or even a Maurader. (you'll spend 500-1000 for those, just the rifle, and you'll want to get a proper scope - 200-500 range). The 2,000 PSI is easy with a hand pump (I use the included pump from the kit), and the pump also works for my Marauders which are 3,000 PSI. It gets more challenging to fill with the handpump from 2,500-3,000 on the Marauders. The point is, you may want to get a scuba or carbon fiber tank ($350+), even a compatible compressor ($500+ and 1,200+ for a good one). So, it can turn into a pretty expensive hobby. I like getting the excercise pumping by hand, but many times have considered a carbon fiber tank at the least. When the kit arrived, one of the screws to assemble the pump had no threading! I could still use the pump but it was not ideal. Crosman support did send me an entire screw set to fix it. My .177 Maximus came without the screw to connect the stock to the barrel assembly. Crosman has sent that as well. Just weird to have issues with screws.

Great little gun
This air rifle is a great buy. I find it easy to use, easy to pump and accurate out to 50yrds. I don't find it very loud as others would complain about. It is used mostly for backyard plinking with my 6 yr daughter. Fit and finsh I'll give it another 5 stars. I'm not going to get into how the trigger should be better because its a $200 air rifle. If you want to fiddle with the trigger there are options that are posted on youtube. I shoot "real guns" out on the range so I don't see this as a project I care to play with that way. I bought a cheap $25 3x9 40mm scope with medium 11mm mounts. Buy it and enjoy it for what it is......FUN
