The toy comes and requires assembling which isn’t too difficult, took about 10 minutes.The instructions were kind of clear, the bits it mentioned were clear enough but it didn’t state only one battery was required and they supply 2 to fit in the main part of the dinosaur. The controller takes normal AA batteries.It moves fine forwards and backwards and the spray is kind of fun.It’s a shame it cannot go left and right.The kids enjoy it which is the main thing, the controller has no on off switch but the dinosaur doesFor the current 19.99 it is ok, be more value for money if it could turn and turn off.

Easy to set up and operate. Good battery life and charge time. Controller simple and has decent range. Noisy, fun, and mist breath is pretty cool. Decent build quality and good value at current price (£19.99, 6th Jan 2025)

I have a six-year-old and a two-year-old. They're having a ton of fun with their dinosaurs. My only problem is that they trip easily over the wide grout lines in the tile or the lip on the flatwoven area rug. Easy to control and the rechargeable dinosaur holds the charge for a long time.

My son tried the remote control dinosaur toy and had a great time playing with it. The controls are easy for young kids, so they can use it without trouble.The toy is made very well and has many nice details. It can keep kids entertained for a long time. This toy is a perfect gift for boys and is great for birthdays or special events. I really recommend it for any kid who loves dinosaurs!

The media could not be loaded. The toy has to be assembled from the box. The tail and all four legs have to be assembled. The legs are attached with small crosshead screws, requiring adult strength and dexterity. A suitable screwdriver is included. Two rechargeable batteries are provided with a simple USB charger to keep one on charge while the other is being used in the body of the dinosaur toy. The remote control takes two AA cells (not included). THERE IS NO OFF SWITCH either on the remote or the toy.The water container is under a rubber bung on the top side of the 'neck'.Tested by 6 and 9 year old children I have to report that it was underwhelming. The 'steam' spray was not particularly strong, and both children were surprised that the model would not change direction, only running backwards and forwards. The only time the dinosaur did switch direction was after one of the front legs fell off. All in all we felt the toy was disappointing and poor value

I thought this little remote control dinosaur toy was a lot of fun and my kids certainly enjoyed playing with it. It moves really well and the remote is good and responsive (and the dinosaur moves on a variety of different surfaces too). My smalls had no trouble whatsoever operating this toy and it's built for little hands with buttons that have clear functions.It moves really fast (backwards and forwards) smoothly and sprays mist if you put water in it which is fun. Both of these things caused a lot of mirth in our house, especially the speed as it was a little bit unexpected.The dinosaur does need a bit of assembly when it arrives but the instructions are fine and clear enough. It only took me a few minutes to get all the legs on etc. There's only a few things to clip and screw on and the batteries (included) are not hard to install.The dinosaur has plenty of sounds and it does get a bit annoying after a while (especially as the motor is quite loud and whirry on top of all the screechy dino sounds).Still, it's fun. It's providing a lot of entertainment and I recommend it.
