Nice option for begginers
It has a small size, can fit in any place. Obviously if you're an absolute begginer at this instrument, you will need to take some lessons, and that's exactly what I'm doing. Pretty light on the hands. Sound quality is reasonable with more presence in the dark tones. I'm enjoying it!

Decent Plastic Trumpet – Works, but Lacks the Sound of Brass
This plastic trumpet seems to be of decent build quality, with smooth-functioning keys and a lightweight feel. However, it definitely doesn’t sound like a brass trumpet—the tone lacks richness, brightness, and warmth, making it feel a bit dull in comparison. Some notes sounded muted, though that may have been due to poor tuning on my part. While it won’t replace a real brass instrument, it’s probably good enough for practice or casual play. A functional alternative, but don’t expect a true trumpet sound.

Surprisingly impressive for price point and being made of plastic!!!!
This trumpet (got the B flat version) came packaged in a nicely printed full color box. Upon opening the box, there was a soft bag made of decent denier fabric. Inside the bag was the trumpet, a ziplock baggie with a few extra valves, another baggie with 2 mouthpieces and a nice owners manual. There is also a silicone double loop band that holds the front and rear tubing together. There are 3 loops for your fingers to grip the trumpet properly. It feels very comfortable in your hands. Now for the sound.....WoW! I was blown away by how great this thing sounds! I am using the plastic mouthpieces that come with the trumpet (they look identical and have no markings on them, so I assume they are identical), but I was informed through some other reviews that purchasing a standard metal mouthpiece makes it feel a little better. Now keep in mind that I have not played the trumpet since 8th grade! (I played football and was informed by my band leader that to be in the band, I also had to be in the marching band. Well I couldn't do that AND play football, so choices were made!). I played pretty prolifically at a young age and really enjoyed the trumpet as an instrument. Since age 12 I have played guitar and currently own about 14 guitars, a bass, a lap steel guitar, 2 ukuleles and have a home recording studio in my basement, so this trumpet will make a nice addition to the studio for some live "brass" (ok plastic) additions. This thing plays pretty nicely. It only has one drain port, but that should be sufficient. It disassembles pretty easily, so that should make cleaning a simple task. If there was one thing I would like to see (and charge extra for this please) it would be maybe valves made of metal and maybe the inclusion of some valve oil.All in all, this is an excellent value for the price and while it isn't a $1000 King trumpet, it would be great for someone who would like to try the trumpet and not break the bank doing it! I would highly recommend this especially for young students of the trumpet.

Good for finger practice
Quite happy with this. The sound is more decent than I had expected and the valves are sturdier than expected too - this is a win. While plastic, it is sufficiently durable and produces an ok sound - think recorders. The value is quite good for a practice trumpet to keep idle fingers moving. you cal exchange out the mouthpiece with a brass one for a slightly more realistic feel.

Sweet Little ABS Horn
This is a sweet little Cornet made out of exceptionally well designed ABS material. It’s a great option for beginning students or as a nice lightweight instrument that you can throw in your bag and not have to worry about. One of the big concerns when traveling with a standard brass instrument are dings, dents, and other damage associated with travel. The ABS material in this horn is lightweight, but exceptionally strong and unlikely to become easily damaged. I’m no great horn player, but I found the intonation quite good and the valve keys worked smoothly and responded very well. The manufacturer has included two mouthpieces and extra valves, which is a really nice and thoughtful touch. A lightweight canvas bag is included, and the horn and accessories fit nicely in the bag. this is no means a concert quality instrument but it’s a fantastic place to start and a great value, especially considering how much it would cost to rent a horn for even a month or so.

got it for the kids but ended up as decor.
This is a great starter for kids that is easy to use. The build quality is sturdy and the kids love it. it's super easy to clean out and the extension does feel a bit sticky, it takes some effort to extend it. the appearance is slick and almost looks more like a decorative piece than an actual instrument. I think you get a great instrument for the price.

Remind me next time not to buy a trumpet for a 10 year old
This is a plastic trumpet that actually uses a mouthpiece and produces sounds. Some do sound like a trumpet, but there are a lot of plastic adjustments that don't stay in place like a real brass instrument, so sounds can get off key easily. It is afterall a toy, but I found that it has some impressive features and adjustments like tone slider and spit valves, valve reliefs etc. The overall sound quality is not bad for plastic, but when your 10 year old is learning to play, this is not the best idea unless you like the sound of wailing cats and dogs. Again, it is really a toy, but is capable of playing like a brass trumpet, maybe just not with the same overall sound quality that you get from the real thing.

For plastic it plays well
This is a great option if you want to learn to play but don't want to invest a bunch of cash up front. I played in middle school and just wanted to test the waters again and was pleasantly surprised by the sound. It's not the same as brass but it's better than expected.A great choice for beginners or intermediate players that don't want to to travel with they expensive instruments.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken
